The property is conveniently located, and we were warmly welcomed by a friendly staff member when we were completing self check-in. While the rooms were only available from 3:30 p.m., which was still fine, we were let down to find the induction hob out of service throughout our stay. Also, the TV felt outdated and was not very responsive. We were unable to access the gym using our room card. Overall, there is definitely room for improvement regarding the property’s facilities.

I had a fantastic experience staying at YOTEL Edinburgh! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The room was clean, modern, and very well-designed with smart space-saving features. I especially loved the adjustable smart bed and the mood lighting—super cool and comfortable! The Wi-Fi was fast, and the TV had great entertainment options.

We had an excellent stay at the Place. Very clean and very cozy. Very easy accessible to shops, supermarkets and just within walking distance to the shopping area. 5-10 mins walk from weaverly station.
Will definitely go again. Only one little problem. Not to take up rooms too high up as no elevators so dragging the luggage up the stairs will be hard especially if you have a large suit case. However they were very helpful to carry for you
So overall, will still go back there
Thank you for such a pleasant stay

It is situated in a prime location. Everything is easily accessible. The room is cleaned. However, the entrance of the hotel is a bit obscure. It is quite annoying especially when it is raining and you have a few pieces of luggage to carry.
Not full set of amenities is provided.
Other than that, I think it is a good choice for sightseeing around Edinburgh.
The transportation is convenient, the city center, there are many restaurants nearby, the room is clean and heated, there is all kinds of coffee and tea, the window has beautiful scenery, the room is comfortable and clean, it is worth recommending

Because the travel plan changed, we booked a hostel at short notice. You know, it's not easy to book such a cheap bed in Edinburgh. The place is not difficult to find, but the stairs are small and it's difficult to move luggage. The toilet and bathroom are small, but they can be used. Breakfast is provided, and you can cook for yourself. It's very close to the station, and there are many shops nearby, including McDonald's.
I left my headphones there, so I asked the customer service to contact the hotel, and finally they were successfully sent to the next city we went to. In short, thank you very much to Ctrip's customer service, and the response and service of the hostel are also very good!

It was my first time in a hostel and I had a comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable, place was clean, location was very central, I managed to walk to all tourist spots, location was very convenient as well for all your needs as its close to all restaurants, pubs , retail stores and stations. I had 3 amazing room mates, who were so mindful about the noise when I'm around esp sleeping. I think the only downside was as an asian, there was no bidet and lift (which was expected cos UK dont do bidet and the bldg was konda old so no stairs) and the mixed gender toilet/bath.
But over all It was a great stay, staff were accomodating and nice.
I left my perfume tho, hopefully the girls got it. Wont mind as they were super nice.

Very good hotel with excenllent views. The buffet style full English/Scotish breakfast is so goooood after a hangover from the bar within the hotel which operates 24 hours (almost!!).
I also stole beer from the tap while the bartender was away and he laught at it and did not cause any trouble although the bartender next told me that the previous night bartender should be treated with caution lol. They were both fabulous.

GGuest UserWhen you open the hotel window, you can see the castle, and below is Edinburgh's garden fountain. The room is very new and has complete facilities. It will feel a little far to drag your luggage back from Aibo Railway Station. There is another Premier Inn hotel slightly closer to the train station. But the unexpected bonus is that it is very close to the rural village of Dean, and it takes 10-13 minutes to walk there through navigation. Stayed 2 nights in total. Most of the guests here are local British citizens, and I have never met any Chinese.

GGuest UserGreat location for our trip to celebrate Hogmanay. You can’t get a better location for the festivities for the Princess street party. Traveling with a baby, they already had the cot in the room before we had arrived which was great. The staff were super kind and attentive at concierge and reception. Breakfast had a good selection if you a hot Scottish breakfast. Only downside was the parking which was a 5 min drive away ( we weren’t packing light!) Overall, solid experience

GGuest UserWe stayed for 1 night in this beautiful hotel as a birthday night away and it was definitely the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. As we arrived at the hotel we were kindly met with a staff member that went over our room, breakfast, dinner and all the other queries we had. We were worried about how hotel stays works during times of COVID however, the hotel was superbly clean and guidelines were followed at all times. We stayed in the executive club room and it was amazing! Our room was spotless and decorated very beautifully. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows are the best I’ve ever used! As for the shower it was an over head rain shower with excellent water pressure. We had breakfast in the morning and it was beautiful would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a stay. Everything about the stay was spectacular and have recommended it to my friends and family. I’m looking at booking another night again for the new year due to how good my experience was. The staff were also very friendly and showed exceptional customer service. Beautiful room, lovely staff and an amazing nights stay! 5/5

KKamaruddinLocation- Superb
Gym - Excellent
Front of House - Very poor. Didn't reflect the W service that we experienced in other countries. No smile, didn't look like she wanted to work there (Christina) , didn't brief us about what came with our reservation, ie breakfast and where to go for it. Asked for late check out at 2pm , which was granted. Thank you, however at 1.40pm , they sent someone at our door to make sure we leave the room ! Horrible and embarrassing. The deposit that they took during check in from our CC hasn't been refunded yet!
Good beakfast which was from ala carte and it was the only good service we had here... thank you Ryan for the tips on Dean Village, We went there and it was beautiful.
Overall -:For the money that we spent, this stay was a let down. I will not stay here again.

EEsraThe building was good and the view was great; it was the best part of staying this hotel. Unfortunately room service was so bad. We stayed there 4nights; first we thought maybe they just hovered the room because the room wasn’t cleaned. Next day it was same so I told it to reception and then finally next day they cleaned it.. but again it wasn’t a full cleaning (they didn’t hover or clean the dust; just tidy the room and clean bathroom) So I can say room cleaning service is a disaster. But I also want to add reception stuff were helpful and friendly. Last thing hotel needs a quick make up; especially bathrooms are very old.

DDanny_L_SmithThis hotel was in a great location. 5 minutes walk from the shopping mall. 2 minutes walk from the tram stop and only 10 minutes walk to some of the main attractions in Edinburgh. The staff at the desk were extremely polite and helpful and even looked after our bags when we checked out so we could go and see another sight in Edinburgh before leaving. The only downside is due to this being an old building there was no elevator available which didn’t affect us but would be an issue for elderly or disabled people.

GGuest UserCleanliness is average, hotel facilities are generally too old. However, the hotel service is very good. The heater can only be turned up to 24 degrees, which is still too cold. The front desk brought another heater and provided another quilt. Luggage can be stored even if you leave the hotel, and fresh fruit is provided for breakfast. The hotel has the same name as another one on Prince Street, but the grade is completely different. Don't book the wrong one!

Ttobby12The hotel is located in the new town, 10 minutes walk to Prince Street, the location is very good, downstairs is very popular with locals of the traditional British restaurant, locals will come here specially for breakfast. There is a unique design style, the room is big enough, the bed is comfortable enough, very comfortable experience, the only downside is that the stairs are very narrow and the large luggage is very difficult to get up and down.
