The room was on the smaller side, but the facilities and service were excellent. The staff were very accommodating and offered free luggage storage. The front desk staff were particularly warm and welcoming, making us feel very comfortable. The room itself was clean. However, given the hotel's age, some facilities were noticeably dated.

Because of the flight, we arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time. The counter staff told us that the room was ready and let us check in early. The location is very convenient. After taking the bus from the airport to the city center, it is within a 5-minute walk. It is right above the Apple Store and Prince Street has everything you need. The place is not difficult to find, but the stairs are small and it's difficult to move luggage. The toilet and bathroom are small, but they can be used. Breakfast is provided, and you can cook for yourself. It's very close to the station, and there are many shops nearby, including McDonald's. I left my headphones there, so I asked the customer service to contact the hotel, and finally they were successfully sent to the next city we went to. I was a bit worried after seeing some negative reviews, but it turned out to be excellent. First, the location is only a few minutes from the train station; you just exit the ground floor and walk for three minutes. The front desk staff and cleaning crew were all very friendly. I arrived ten minutes late for check-in, and they even offered me a hot drink from the bar next door. The room was spacious, and there was a large complimentary bottle of water every day. Calton Hill is a three-minute walk if you turn left when you exit the main door, and a five-minute walk to the Scott Monument and the '网红桥' (famous Instagram bridge) if you turn right. A M&S supermarket is also not far. It's definitely worth staying here.

Wonderful location in close proximity to many of Edinburgh’s attractions. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful — after mentioning to them that we will be coming back to the hotel again after our tour to the Scottish highlands, the staff voluntarily offered to send the baggage that we would temporarily leave behind in the hotel straight to our rooms when we return. Their thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. The hotel restaurant is also beautifully decorated with amazing food choices, and the food tasted delicious too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, cheers!
