The best experience of my life!! Amazing service. Friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious 😍 best of all was sighting animals; besides the park we saw elephants and hippos from our room. It was truly breathtaking. The safari with the guide helped to learn new things and the guide answered all the questions we had very well. I would highly recommend this place and have told all my friends and family to visit when they get the opportunity.

Amazing gem of a place. Beautiful setting, with a stunning view of the Kruger Sabie River. Rooms were exceptional and very clean. Food was sensational but the highlight for me was the friendly staff. From the time you check in till departure, you are made to feel special. Would definitely recommend.

Where you stay makes all the difference, and Leopard Sands – Kruger Park (Marriott) was beyond amazing. This intimate resort has just 18 thatched-roof cottages, and during our stay, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. From our room, we enjoyed stunning views of the Sabie River, the park, and wildlife right outside our window. Nights were magical—sleeping under a canopy of mosquito netting, listening to the sounds of nature. One evening, we were treated to a traditional African Boma dinner, complete with a performance by a local youth dance group. The staff made us feel so welcome and pampered us with meals that could rival any Michelin-star restaurant. Leopard Sands - Kruger Park was everything we hoped it would be and more. Dreams really do come true!

WOW! Leopard Sands did not disappoint. Our family, including teenagers and Grandma, absolutely loved the experience. We split everyone into three 2-person suites, each with their own little pool and deck to watch the hippos and elephants in the Sabie River below. The beds were super comfortable and the showers nice and hot (even the outdoor one). The rooms were very clean and decorated with a lovely local Bush theme. The shower could have had more privacy - there is no curtain and is the first thing seen should someone open the front door even a crack. Fine for couples, but Grandma sharing with a teenager had to kick her roommate out to look at the hippos when she wanted to take a shower. Other than the layout of the shower, the space was really well thought-out with plenty of places to unpack and hang your clothes, USB outlets to charge your devices, A/C and a ceiling fan as well as a fridge stocked with free waters and sodas. We got the inclusive package and took advantage of the morning and afternoon Safaris. The safaris were everything we wanted and more - binoculars and blankets were provided, as well as drinks and snacks. The vehicles seemed brand new and were clean and well-maintained. Becky was an amazing guide so we requested him for every trip - he went above and beyond to make sure we saw the Big 5. He offered a lot of information about the wildlife and even the birds along the way. The meals were excellent and visually appealing, worthy of the teenagers' Instagram pages. There were several healthy and fresh options for the starter and main course with a choice of two desserts. The variety was quite good and there was something for everyone in our party, including our family member with a tree nut allergy. There was a full coffee bar and pastries available before the 5:30am safari - the freshly baked croissants were the best I've had outside of Paris. The kids looked forward to their cookies and cream milkshakes at every meal and the wine list was diverse, with wines by the glass available for every variety and at a reasonable extra cost. The restaurant staff was always pleasant, friendly and accommodating. The reception folks were equally as nice and responded quickly to any request whether it be a golf cart ride to the restaurant or a laundry pick-up. Vann the manager and the entire staff seemed genuinely interested in getting to know every guest there and deliver an individualized experience to each. Thank you to the entire staff for a memorable family trip. We will surely recommend Leopard Sands to anyone headed to Kruger Park.

Hello from a Canadian, we went to Leopard Sand in March this year. We give it 5 stars on game drives, staff, food and location....however when booking this Marriott location you should be mindful of the EXCESSIVE cost for transfers of any kind. In particular our flight arrived after the standard pickup time for their shuttle and they charged us 800 rand per person (4ppl), then anther 800 rand per person to get back to the airport. The cost of the rooms include the shuttle but only if your flight matches perfectly to their schedule. I asked for credit and was told no. Management is simply ripping off the guests with their transfer costs. One manager even said "we had to get a special shuttle/driver for you so its more expensive". Yet the same driver and resort owned vehicle returned us to the airport. FYI the resort was at best 30% capacity across 18 rooms. We went to golf 9 holes at the Shukuza Golf course and again the shuttle cost was ridiculous even after challenging the why is was so high nearly as much as a round of golf. *adding they charge per person which is totally unreasonable. Rooms: there are 18 rooms facing the Sabie river. We upgraded then realized the upgrade was virtually no different to the base room. They will tell you the upgrade room is bigger (it is by a meter) and a better view (it is not). The upgraded rooms do not have a better view and the size difference is irrelevant, layout and amenities identical. The occupancy was about 30%, as a Bonvoy elite gold member we are to get complimentary upgrades while possible, this was not offered. After kindly asking to see the standard room vs our upgrade and sharing the standard room actually had a better view and exactly the same layout (short 1 meter) I asked "why am I paying for an upgrade at all" and why was it not even given complementary? After a long conversation the cost was removed from our bill. This is a new resort and they are sorting out the kninks but Mgt and ownership need to have a hard look at their "product" and excuses.

Family of four including two boys- 13 & 16. Incredible experience all the way around- the lodge and rooms are incredible, the food is amazing, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and our game driver, Becky, is THE BEST- he went way out of his way to ensure we saw the big five, which we did! Amazing. Highly recommend the Leopard Sands.
