This recently renovated property is a slice of heaven. A perfect place to unwind after a nice but hectic game schedule at Kruger park. Very peaceful and well secured. Isolated but close to the main town, you have no idea where you are and this is a very good thing. Also a perfect location to access the beautiful Drakensberg park. But we personally elected to spend 2 days on location to unwind at the end of a long trip, and this was a tremendously good decision. The food is also good and generous. Molly the manager is not only very efficient, but also geniuously keen to make you happy. And rest assure that you succeeded...big time Molly! We have very found memories (and great pictures) of our memorable stay.

Absolutely beautiful setting on a lake. Perfect for a relaxing couple of days in nature. One of the highlights was waking up one morning to hippos frolicking in the lake outside our room. The staff (especially Glen) were super attentive and the manager did everything to make our stay enjoyable.

The place was breathtaking, from the entrance to reception and rooms. The place is very clean. I love the dining arrangement on the lake deck

Good place to stay to visit attractions in the area. Pilgrims Rest should be one off then but is almost derelict now. Graskop Gorgue Centre is a new place to see and well worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at Bambuu lodge. The service was excellent and the food amazing. Best pizza I have ever had. The lodge manager is very accomadating and he makes your stay a real pleasure. Definately would reccomend this place.

I loved the place, I could visit it over and over again. We had a very peaceful and relaxing weekend . They have a great and loving staff members. Selby you are a one kind employee, and Mannie the manager. Such an amazing staff members . I have recommended this establishment for most people I know. It is indeed great for money.

WAOUW WAOUW. A TOP location. TOP staff at your service (even at 4.30 in the morning before safari departures). Beautiful large room with a breathtaking view of the lake. A fabulous haven of peace, this terrace on the lake, incredibly beautiful.
