Crystal Springs is an amazing lodge. The facilities are great. The staff is friendly. The view is what you need to relax and take a break from the busy city life. The roads to the Lodge can get very tricky so be prepare but overall I would highly recommend the lodge to go relax and unwind.

A break from the city with stunning sunsets. The chalet overlooks the mountains. The one-bedroom unit is comfortable for a couple. A huge kitchen with all the amenities. A small lounge area with a cozy fireplace was perfect for the cold weather. The braai area was on the patio overlooking the forest with the most stunning sunsets. The resort has swimming pools, a jacuzzi (a small fee is applicable), and a small shop. There are a few hiking trails that you can go on. You will spot some wildlife on the trail as well. Overall the resort is great for a quiet break in the mountains with stunning views.

Was very let down with the state of the accommodation at Crystal Springs. It seemed as though the room we stayed in had been locked up for decades. The furniture etc was not only outdated but dirty! The headboard had mould on it, blanket was crusted with an unknown material, dead insects on the floor, toilet seat so scratched and old, bathroom facilities rusted and cracked. I complained about the room but the conditions did not change. It was not what we hoped for, in the least.

The venue is great overall. being so upclose with the animals. Great hospitality. Friendly stuff who literally feel like your friends. Just need to change the shower head in the unit and improve the restaurant's taste of the food.
