Asteris Hotel

Such a friendly and hospitable hotel. Immaculately clean, spacious studio room with stunning views, great food (could do with a little more choice) and generally just a lovely place to stay. Our bed was very hard but as soon as we told them, a topper was put on & problem solved. They booked a hire car for us at a great rate and couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. It wasn’t perfect, but their welcome was = 5/5.

Just had an amazing 10 nights here. Everything was great, the friendly staff, the cleanliness, the views, the food albeit bit the same every day for breakfast. Lunches and evening meals at the hotel were lovely, bar prices good and the shuttle bus a godsend. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and balcony, only negative re the room was lack of storage, just one single wardrobe with the safe taking up space at the bottom. On arrival there were 2 small bottles of water and tea, coffee but these aren't replinshed so if you like your cuppa maybe best take some supplies. Definitely recommend this hotel, we will be back soon.

Overall the hotel is very good and an amazing stay. My wife and I stayed for 5 Nights as we were in Greece for a wedding. I can only rate it 4 stars as I didn’t get to try all areas of the hotel but the experience was a 5 star due to hospitality and attentiveness of staff. The staff are extremely attentive and knew us by name when we came through the door. Rooms are cleaned daily and are cleaned at set times each day; once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Rooms: Depending on which rooms you get you could get you either may have an updated room or non updated room. However, with the non updated rooms they have updated bathrooms with is very nice. The rooms overall are spacious and have balcony’s attached. (I unfortunately didn’t get many pictures of the rooms! I was busy vlogging and editing the trip!) Amenities: The pool was nice, keeps you cool during the intense heat in the day. The pool does get very deep at the deep end so beware when swimming! They have two shallower parts near the top as well with one with a pool tennis set up. As the rooms are spread out in the area they have golf carts to take you to and from your room when you arrive and stay, this is to make it easier when you have larger suitcases like we did. Food: Now as I didn’t get to try all the food as it was a short stay and we did eat out most nights. However, breakfast is what you would expect at any hotel, the options are what you would see such as eggs, beans, sausage, bacon etc. They also had the options of cereal and pastries as well. As the hotel is a nice small hotel they food was well topped up for everyone to eat. During the day you can also get food during the day from the kitchen such as sandwich’s, and drinks in which the staff brought over to you which is nice touch it being a small hotel. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are doing a short stay in Kefalonia.

We stayed at the Asterist Hotel 4 of us on September 14th.My Birthday.We got a Taxi from the Airport €80 between us took 40 minutes,the views on our way were stunning. We arrived at 12.30pm our room was ready.It was really modern spacious and immaculate. The view from 157 was amazing.We had breakfast which was very good.You could have snacks and evening meals all excellent at reasonable prices,bar prices fair also.The complimentary bus into Skala was a godsend,Where there was amazing restaurants with fabulous Greek food and lovely wine.There is an Hotel next door that you can use which has entertainment some nights.There was a DJ one night at the Asterist. Great party night.All the staff was amazingly friendly. We had the best relaxing time here.Missing that view.Houskeeping lady's fabulous. Thanks to all.

Just returned from another fantastic week at Asteris, thought it couldn't get better than last year but it did, staff are incredible, friendly, helpful, can't do enough for you. Hotel is stunning, beautiful sea views from most points and so clean. Have already booked for next year.

We stayed here for 5 days beginning of August 2024, what a treat. The staff were amazing and extremely accommodating. My little boy, 3.5 years old thought they were all brilliant and entertaining. The facilities are great and the scenery fantastic. The free shuttle bus to the centre was very valued and super easy to book. There were always sunbeds to use, no one ever got up early to reserve, very refreshing! We loved our stay and will be back again.
