"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great facilities, decent size rooms and very comfy beds. The best thing about this hotel though is the amazing staff……….nothing is too much trouble. I must in particular mention Evelyn and Franklin who were amazing! My main gripe unfortunately was that there is no air con in the seating areas in the dining room but would thoroughly recommend this hotel"

"Average Hotel. Would not consider it to be 5 star standard. Beautiful location. stunning views. Staff not very helpful or friendly in general apart from the lifeguard at the pool and the young girl running entertainment who were very friendly ,happy and outgoing. Standard of cleanliness in Room was not very good. food was average. service was average. Didn't get given any information on arrival that we should have. for example that there are golf buggies to run you around the very steep site if you ask them or that you can book in the al a cart restaurant one evening as part of the package. We paid for an all inclusive holiday in a 5 star Hotel and feel it fell short of that On leaving we had to continually ask for our bags to be taken to reception by the Golf Buggy Driver who turned up eventually with 2 minutes to spare until our pick up. He gave us the silent treatment . it's a very steep site and this is a service they offer but we were treated as if we were making life difficult. It is such a shame because they have such a beautiful location."

"Location was great very close to the beach and about a 10 minute walk into the main area of Scala. Pool area nice with decent sun beds and parasols, pool towels provided. Room was big with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, safety deposit box in the wardrobe. We had a kettle and fridge so able to make a hot drink. Room was clean but very dated the bathroom was especially dark no ceiling light just 3 small bulbs over the sink, no window in the bathroom to let in natural light either. Breakfast a bit disappointing."

"Best hotel EVER! I stayed here with my mum and son, on the way to Zakynthos. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcomed and like family. They made a fuss of my son who felt so at home. The food was great, the place is like a typical family home and the room was perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Poros."

"I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable rest in a peaceful, beautiful neighborhood. The rooms are clean, cleaned daily, and have fresh towels provided. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. The hotel is in a quiet area, yet a nearby town is within walking distance. The hotel beach—a picturesque cove with blue water—is the quintessence of Kefalonia. If I visit the island again, I will certainly stay at this hotel. In my opinion, the stay was an 11/10."

"This is not a 5* hotel. We arrived late so check in was really rushed. We were not given any information about the hotel in general and what's on offer. We had no idea you could get a free shuttle bus into skala or poros ( 1 hour walk + a massive hill to climb. ) we found this out on checkout day! We also were not told about the options regarding the extra restaurants which meant we were subjected to disgusting food. I will give positive feedback for the breakfast options. The staff - restaurant and bar staff were all pleasant. Front of house staff not good. The rooms/hotel. When booking it wasn't clear what types of views you could have, therefore we asked for a room with a view. An extra €140 euros! When we checked out we overheard a couple saying the had complained and got a FREE upgrade to a superior room. The rooms in its self. The toilet is situated in the shower cubicle with the telephone?!?!? Having a shower was not a pleasant experience when you have toilet smells around. On arrival we came into a room with two single beds. We therefore had to ask for a double mattress. It's a very steep hotel and not much parking. It does have a lot of ants and birds around ( we didn't mind the birds. We actually had a little nest with a bird inside which we named Frank. ) To round off we won't be coming back again to this hotel. Kefalonia is absolutely stunning and we will be back visiting this stunning island in the future."

"Great location, only a 10 minute walk from skala town. With shop 2 minute walk away and restaurants/beach on the door step. Room was spacious with kitchenette, plenty of storage, balcony (with an unexpected view of the beach) Breakfast spread was good, included fruit and yogurt, cereal and pastries, also a good range of cooked items to choose from. Pool area was clean and very relaxing. Bar was well stocked with good beer in chilled glasses. Staff were great especially Eva who made our stay! Amazing service and friendly, also kindly helped us sort transport for days out. Will definitely be coming back next year!"

"We were completely blown away by Olivemare. The owner Marilena is incredibly helpful and friendly, the food is fantastic, and the rooms are super stylish and comfortable, with a gorgeous private patio area. There are only 5 rooms, so the pool never feels busy, and it's a great size. Breakfast was fabulous with delicious freshly-squeezed orange juice, cheese from the owner's goats, freshly-cooked eggs, and daily specials such as fava, and spinach pie."

"The hotel is a family business, on the ground floor there is also a pastry shop and snack bar. Breakfast is not offered. We stayed in a very clean apartment with a nice view. It seems to be old but there are some things that have been changed. The air conditioners are new, the door handles are painted. The mattress is also new and very comfortable. However, the furniture needs changing. The bed creaked a lot, as did the wardrobe. The drawers were sticking. When you stay 7-10 days, you don't leave clothes in your suitcase, you need space. Otherwise, our towels were changed every day and the sheets almost every day. There is an elevator but the reception closes at 23.00 so it stops working and access to the hotel is via an external staircase. The lady who cleans is very kind. The owners are helpful, when leaving they gave us a bottle of local wine and mantolas."

"We’re home after ten nights at the Reveli Suites and thought I’d share our experience. We’ve watched this place be built over the last few years and were not surprised to find the quality was outstanding. You arrive via the private drive and electric gates. There’s not a reception as such but a kind of a social space where Maria the owner welcomes you with a drink. She helps you to log on to the WiFi and then shows you to your suite. We were in an upper mezzanine with an amazing view. The shower room was extra luxurious and the top quality complimentary toiletries were replenished every day. Then there was the mini bar, Perrier, beers and wine replenished every day, towels, robes, and pool stuff replaced at least once daily. The pool area was equipped for the exact number of guests, the sunbeds are deep filled and amazing. The breakfast was freshly prepared, freshly squeezed orange juice, granola with Yogurt, pastries which were warm and delicious. Fresh fruits and an omelette with fresh salads. Six minute walk from the centre of things. Unreservedly recommended. There’s even a suite with a private pool. Just what Katelios has been waiting for."

"Booked 4 nights . Fully paid. Left after 1. Room 301 Noise was terrible, kept awake all night. Did i mention noise? ?? From Upstairs, bathroom window , Kids at pool( which needs a good clean) Beds are rock hard White towels ? ( old And beige , need a good Bleach. Shower head kept falling off the bracket. Asked For some ice for a Drink , got given a single use plastic cup got asked to bring cup back . The only good thing about this hotel was jerry the receptionist and the resident black cat. Avoid at all cost . Which by the way is expensive. We moved with out any refund as we just wanted to get out of there . Paying the same price at a 4 star hotel which is incredible after such a disaster."
