3-Star Hotels in Engelberg

We temporarily decided to stay in Engelberg for one night and another weekend, so the entire hotel in Engelberg can be booked and the price is higher. After the check-in, the room was quite big, but the equipment was very simple, probably the same as the domestic 168, there is a small balcony. The hotel has a good breakfast, the hotel has a good location, and a new hotel is built next to it. The car park is right behind the hotel.

I booked this hotel as the price was good and reviews were very good. After staying for 5 nights I can honestly say the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much for them and every single time you see them they always would smile and speak to you and see how you are doing. I cannot praise them enough especially the lady on reception (sorry I did not get your name). The room was extremely clean and although the decor was dated (which fit the theme for the hotel so not a complaint) you could see the cleaning was extremely good and always done daily. The beds were comfy but 1 small suggestion is the sofa bed to have a matress topper as it can be a little too firm in areas. The hotel is in a great location, shuttle bus nearby to titlis or brunni or even a very short walk to the local monastery. The only feedback I would give is the hallways at night got very dark and sometimes the lights would not illuminate the stairs or hall very well. I have to say during the stay though the staff corrected this but it took a few days. Breakfast was lovely small spread but very nice. Again staff were fantastic there and would always happily greet you Thank you to the team for our stay and for sure I would recommend and stay again

Belle chambre bien équipée, literie confortable , salle de bains moderne. Propreté impeccable dans tout l'établissement. Buffet du petit déjeuner varié et avec des produits de qualité J'ai egalement diné au restaurant de l'hôtel avec le menu surprise qui était délicieux. Et le personnel est professionnel , efficace et très agréable. Je reviendrais avec plaisir

Staying at Central Hotel Engelberg was a blessing. Right bang next to the railway station. Amazing room with lovely balcony (room 116). Great masala chai. Spice restaurant on the ground floor… so much at home. Philip made amazing omelettes for us on demand and provided us great service. My thanks to Zeljana Cajic for making our room stay so comfortable and Tanya and David for giving us good Indian food!

Wow, what a location and hostel!! Our room was absolutely gorgeous with a stunning balcony view of the mountains. The bunk beds were cute and it was pretty spacious. Great location in the town of Engelberg, walkable to town and restaurants as well as the lift up to Mt. Titlis. The fondu on the first night was the perfect welcome to Switzerland. Left wanting to stay another night and hopefully get to come back someday!
