If you will need to back to the hotel after 11pm, please be remembered the front door is closed and you will need your key to open the door. Recommend to those who will drive to travel in Engelberg but if you only plan to take a train tour, it is not for you. "

"The hotel is not too far from the train station, just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the staff were very attentive and helpful – definitely worth a thumbs up! The rooms were clean, but there was no air conditioning. The bathroom had heating pipes, making a hot shower very comfortable. The hotel also has a swimming pool and sauna, which are great for enjoying during your vacation."

"The hotel does not have a hot water kettle in the room. One male restaurant staff did not allow me to bring a cup of hot water from the restaurant to my room. He threatened me to be fined $500 if I spill water on the carpet or break the cup. He was so rude he should not be working in a hotel!!!"
