From the moment we arrived the smiles and kindness said it all . Lovely suite with own balcony and a pontoon to the water . Nothing missing in the room and very comfy quiet and private . Gardens and pool area were totally relaxing and again the smiling helpful staff were a delight . Food in Boom was good mostly and a slight issue with overcooked and forgotten order one day was very well corrected but the restaurant lead . This is a gem . A lovely spot for exploring Galleon cove and Pigeon point & town and restaurants within. The historical Nelson’s dock at your fingertips . All very secure . Beautiful brief taxi or walk in to town where there are plenty of good restaurants . we made it up to Shirley Hight and really enjoyed fun dancing and food . The sunset view is spectacular. Loved the boat trip across to Admirals Inn for breakfast. Dinner there was lovely too . Again staff make this place very relaxing . The two properties are run together so which side you stay is up to you but Gunpowder suits and the pool is chilled and very beautiful. Admiralty is more Colonial and very nicely done too so neither choice would be anything but fabulous.

No words. Staff and location perfect. Rustic, beautiful charm. The best location to explore and be independent. No way we’d stay in an all inclusive down the road as the Admirals inn oozes charm, personality and a feeling of calm and happiness! That’s what this place meant to us!!

Positives: Good location at English Harbour Nice gardens and pool area The suite we had was more than big enough for the 3 of us. The room itself is a nice space. Negatives: Expensive and represents very poor value for money. We only stayed one night thankfully. Nobody there to meet you when you check in so onus is on the customer to find a member of staff or call them on the number provided. Couldn’t get to breakfast - we were told there was a boat to take us across but no boat arrived. We then had to drive around to get to the breakfast location. They also charged us for a bottle of Aqua Pana at breakfast when my daughter only wanted a small glass. We ate at Pillars for dinner which was extremely uninspiring. The spare ribs were as tough as old boots. The meal cost around $85 for three main courses and two drinks. The A/C in the bedroom was ineffective and the screen was broken so you were unable to see what settings it was on. The bed sheets were old and a long way from white. The towels were slightly better but only big enough for a hobbit. The shower unit was simply a piece of glass, but given how weak the water was I guess this was just about adequate. Overall, I just can’t understand why there are so many positive reviews on this place. Even by Antigua standards it is way overpriced.

We are just about to leave this lovely hotel From the moment you arrive you feel relaxed and looked after We stayed in room PM1 which is gorgeous. We have a window on both side so amazing views. The food has been delicious. Hence why we have eaten to much To get to the restaurant for breakfast it’s on the other side of the water so you just ding the bell by the Jetty and a little boat comes and gets you. Lovely way to start the day. I’m not particularly a boat person but it has been nice watching them come in and out of the dock Will definitely be returning Thanks for making our holiday special
