Good location and conveniently situated for eateries and buses. Now for the not so nice! Very hard double bed and only one pillow each. No chair or waste bin in the room. The floor was full of hairs and not at all clean. The shower doors would not close properly causing a flood all the way into our room which we had to mop up for 3 days as there was no housekeeping and we had to use one of our towels for this as there was no mop to be seen. Needless to say the old expression “you get what you pay for” is absolutely true. On the plus side we saved a few Euros although we found a hotel for the same price which included breakfast. We have checked out and re located.

We were surprised to be able to book this stay through British Airways Avios points: if this was a reward, god help anyone getting a penalty from them! Our first surprise was accidentally finding that check in was limited to 3.5 hours in the afternoon. After a week of trying we found an email address and from that a means to self check in. When the shower was used in the external (shared) bathroom water came under our door turning the tiled floor into a skating rink so thankfully we seemed to be alone in the building. The bed was lumpy and hard to say the least. On the plus side the location is old town and next door to Manis - an amazing Nepalese restaurant. Will we return? Please guess ~ clue 2 letters 1st N.

The room was fantastic. The highlight was definitely the terrace. Very well maintained and just beautiful sights. We spent hours of our week away up there. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars and activities. Had a fantastic stay. Plan to return some day. Nick and Hannah

Warm welcome from Silvia, who picked up our luggage well before the room was available. This is a charming 6 bedroom house right in the heart of Faro. Ours had a private bathroom and was not overlooked. I enjoyed the roof terrace, but would have liked some shade as it is very hot there. The ideal location induces a little noise at night... In short, I highly recommend!
