The motel is right on a bus route with a stop very close by. Check in on the machine at the front door was very straightforward. My room was on the second floor and there is an elevator if stairs are not your thing. The room was vwey spacious for a single. There was a desk and tv and armoire. The bathroom was a good size and bright. There is a wonderful Mexican restaurant downstairs in the building. Helldones Burritita.

Usually a good stay.. But not this time... We arrived to find the smoke detector covered with a plastic bag and the room stinking of cigarette smoke! This was both revolting and the danger tampering with a fire system poses is frightening. Why was this not noted by the cleaner before giving the room to a paying guest. Secondly the barking dog next door in room 25 was ridiculous.. If I wanted to hear a dog barking at gone 2300 at night id buy a dog.. This is an un manned hotel and we understand that with the convenience comes a few problems. But there needs to be some control measures to ensure you deliver what you advertise on your website. We like this place and its been good in the past. Im hoping we just got very unlucky?
