"Stayed here for a week on a coach holiday and it was as good 2nd time around but at a different time of the year. The reception staff are friendly, efficient and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The staff in the dining room are efficient and very friendly. Food is amazing with a fantastic choice for dinner and a superb buffet breakfast. The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds and the walk in shower was nice and big. Housekeeping keep the public spaces spotless as well as the bedrooms. Loved the new robotic helper in the dining room. Makes it much quicker for staff to serve and clear away. Good evening entertainment. Will go back again. Family run hotel that never disappoints."

"Walkable from the train station where there is a supermarket that opens even on Sundays. Breakfast is 14 euros per adult and kids get to eat for free. It’s just standard breakfast but since we have three kids, it’s worth the money. Staff is very friendly."

"There is a parking lot in the basement, so it's no problem for those who come by car. The hotel is comfortable, but in some rooms it took a while for the hot water to come out. (I stayed there twice, so I felt the difference.) Those who come by train will find it inconvenient as it is a 15-minute walk from the station, but it is hard to imagine people coming to this place without a car, so I would say it is a satisfactory hotel."

"The check-in and check-out didn't work. We spent an hour trying to reach someone over the phone because there is no one working there in person. The self check-in told us that there was no reservation under my reservation number and name. Then at check-out the same story so we just left. Additionally and worst of all was the dirtiness of the room! The coffee and hot water machine were disgusting. There was still some water that hasn't apparently been touched for years probably. The water had whitish and brownish substances floating around. The coffee mugs were sticky and full of weird marks. The milk and other things were already open. The only thing clean (we hope at least) were the bedsheets."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Montfort, and I can only say: it was an outstanding experience! The food is simply fantastic – creative, flavorful, and of the highest quality. The presentation is stunning (my recommendation – the boiled beef served in a Le Creuset pot) and absolutely delicious! The rooms are modern, stylishly furnished, and offer the utmost comfort – the perfect place to relax after a long day. I was particularly impressed by the conference area: technically superb, thoughtfully designed, and perfect for productive meetings or events. And the best part: the staff! I have rarely encountered such a dedicated, friendly, and attentive team. Every single employee ensures that you feel completely at ease with their warmth and professionalism. You can tell that the team is truly passionate about what they do! In short: the Hotel Montfort combines culinary delights, design, and excellent service at the highest level. "Two night stay with breakfast. Excellent location near good underground parking. This hotel was clearly fairly recently refurbished and modernised but retaining a local style. A lot of money has obviously been well spent. The decoration is tasteful if a little dark. Nice lift. Lighting in the room was rather subdued - air conditioning really good. Very nice breakfast area. Modern and fresh presentation of breakfast food. Lots to like. Receptionist K and her colleague were both efficient and lovely. There was little people-traffic when we were there. Downside- we weren’t greeted or made to feel welcome at breakfast and perhaps slightly implicitly unwanted especially towards end of breakfast nor offered the usual charming eggs option. Minor gripes however. Lunch in the pleasant garden was another matter. Very nice indeed, good food, nicely made and presented- served by efficient and cheerful staff with presence. Generally a very nice private hotel, devoid of the sadly corporate drivel in its presentation and I wish them well. Best Hotel in this charming small town. I warmly recommend it."
