Florence Hotels with Bars

Breakfast can be much better. It is an expensive hotel but their breakfast buffet doesn't have fresh fruit, poor cheese selection and they also don't serve multi grain bread. For some reason, i felt like the staff were serving the Europeans faster. Also, at the hotel reception, the staff will give you incorrect information regarding the city tours and hotels. Please be careful

The people at the front desk were great and very helpful. The location is good. However, the hotel is very old and tired. The beds were hard as a rock. They even gave me a thin mattress topper but it was like putting that in the floor-so still a very hard bed. We had the two bedroom suite. All it is is two separate rooms which when you books it as a suite, they are close together. However, it’s no suite. Even the towels were torn apart. I would give it a 3 stars only because the people were nice. But in no way is this a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is located in a prime area, right outside the train station, offering easy access to the airport, attractions, and restaurants. The reception staff were friendly and always available to assist with any questions or requests. The double room we booked was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast provided by the hotel had a wide variety of options with great quality. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for convenience during their travels!

Very surprising hotel. Although it is a four-star hotel, the attentive service makes people feel comfortable and caring. The room is comfortable and clean. Everything is provided except toothbrush. The breakfast is very rich, with seven or eight kinds of cheese, more than ten kinds of bread and cake, and more than ten kinds of fruit to choose from. There is a happy hour from 6 to 8 pm. If you order wine, you can enjoy snacks and fruits for free. There is also a turndown service. Greeting cards and chocolates are given the night before leaving. It can be felt that the hotel really serves guests attentively. Great!

We had a wonderful time in the Hotel Berchielli. It’s in a beautiful location, the staff are very helpful and the rooms very clean and comfortable. They serve a very very good breakfast.

Even the equipment such as elevators and decorations is really old-fashion, they still provide equivalent service that a 4 stars hotel should have, including room services, reception and breakfast. and it's location is not far away from city centre. However, don't give a high expectations to equipments of this hotel can provide, remember it is a hotel established in around 1960s.

Traveled to Florence before COVID and stayed here I came back to Florence this year to travel again and had to book this hotel again. Great location, service and the room condition were great. I traveled alone and they assigned me to a single room that is located right next to the emergency exit in the beginning. And it was really loud since people were coming in and out. I asked the reception to change the room and they assigned me to cleaner and quieter single room. Very much appreciated.

Very pleased with my stay. Hotel kindly upgraded me from a Single Room to a Double Room in low season in November, which is really nice. The room is spacious, with good natural light, double glazed windows and good ventilation/air con/heating. Toilet with stand shower is of a good size as well, not too small and cramped. Hotel location is super close to the central station in Florence, around 5 mins walk only to it, which is very ideal for travellers arriving into Florence by rail. It's slow walkable to pretty much all attractions (within 15-25 mins), so is a good place to base yourself in for a short stay. Similar to many hotels in Italy, there are a few steps at the entrance but there is a lift to get you up to your room. Check-in process is smooth and complimentary breakfast is decent. I especially love the coffee and jucie machine and pancakes offered. It'd be great if besides scrambled eggs, some kind of breakfast meats like sausages can also be offered. They do have some basic cold cuts and cheese and ham as well, yogurt, and cornflakes, it's a more diverse continental breakfast, which is great for a 3 Star Hotel. As the hotel is very close to the Train Station, you do hear trains / trams passing through from the streets, but the noise level is acceptable with the double glazed windows' insulation. I would recommend this hotel for solo travellers.

Transportation: Just walk 5-10 minutes from the station, and go through the underground to pull the suitcase. It takes 5 minutes to get there smoothly, but it takes 10 minutes to pull the suitcase if the road is bumpy. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Academy Gallery, and famous food and drink brands. Piazza Michelangelo is the farthest, about half an hour. Breakfast: Breakfast is a buffet, with the most varieties and the highest quality in the entire Italian itinerary. The buffet is on the 5th floor (I don’t know if I remember it wrong). In the morning, while eating breakfast, I watched those foreigners chatting, and I could clearly see the Duomo in the sun outside the window. I instantly had the illusion of entering an American or British TV series. This breakfast is wonderful. The room is not big, but it is quite unique. The location is really excellent. After all, I almost walked the whole Florence with my legs.
