Okay, here’s a review, as requested: This place was pretty good! The location was amazing, super central and easy to get around. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d def stay here again. Only downside was the noise at night, but that’s to be expected in such a central location. Overall, a great experience!

Our take was that one would be very challenged to find a more perfectly located, perfectly charming (dare I say 14th century boutique hotel ‘It’ spot) to stay than the San Niccolo area of Firenze and the Palazzo San Niccolo (even moreso now as attached cafe Floret (separately owned) has opened. The area just on quieter (we say more desirable) side of the Arno River from the congrsted majesty of the city center has cozy cafes, restaurants, shopping (check out Rivertrend right next door for linen everything and local jewelery artisan and lux quality home goods boutique just across) plus Michaelango Plaza with its views of the city just a short hike above. As we had a car (of course NOT necessary for Firenze) it was bonus the hotel has reasonably priced (for a city) arrangement with parking garage nearby. With all to do and see in Firenze, DO make time to chill in the hotel’s idyllic back garden for cocktails! Lastly, a very strong recommendation to walk alittle out of the way and off the well worn tourist path to a relatively new, sumptuous locals restaurant called Ottone.

Great place to stay with a friend who snores. Had an apartment- cute little kitchen so could make oatmeal daily ( not something any breakfast place has) can buy breakfast there but nothing much healthy, they sell coffee. 20min walk from train station, across the Arno river and nice and quiet. Restaurants close by. Not far from Ponte Vecchio bridge- over next bridge over and a little walk. Not too far from everything. Lovely garden in back to have wine…. Friendly staff

This was such a personalized experience in a great location. Only 10 minute walk to all of the historical locations that you would like to visit while in Florence. I would absolutely recommend this to all friends, family and business colleagues. Our accommodations would be considered a flat/apartment. Exquisite decorations, very roomy and their garden was like going to a a relaxing spa.
