We spent two nights in this hotel on May 7, 8, the hosts are very kind and attentive, it was very good and pleasant to communicate with them, the room is clean, tidy and comfortable, the location is very good, the security of the hotel is protected. The night was very quiet at the location of the hotel. The breakfast was quite good and I would love to return to this hotel if I come to Florence again

I love this cozy hotel that has delightful caring owners! They make great suggestions & take time to give exact directions to sights. The breakfast is excellent with many choices. The best in Italy in my opinion! Including fresh fruit salad

This is a really convenient hotel, just 10 minutes (max) walk to the centre of Florence and even less to other attractions such as the Accademia gallery and the San Marco museum. We were given a warm and friendly welcome upon check in by Marco and provided with lots of useful information about the area. Our room was very clean and had excellent air con thankfully, as we were visiting during an unexpected heatwave. I would definitely stay here again, the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that at almost 160 euros per night I thought it was on the expensive side for what it was.

Such a beautiful hotel right in the centre of Florence. The family that run the hotel are so friendly and welcoming. It really showed after the previous places we stayed at. Our family room was lovely and big with great air con. My teenage girls loved the fact they had their own beds. Loved the bathroom too. Very stylish.. Again, so clean. Breakfast was great and a real treat. My husband liked the fact there was a little lounge area he could retreat to, to get away from 3 females faffing around getting dressed! The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere. We drove to Florence and the recommended car park was very close. The only issue we had was that are so many road closures... It took us a good 30 mins just to try and work out how to get to the car park which was frustrating.

Great hotel! We chose to stay here because we wanted to be near my daughter's boyfriend while he was studying abroad and we were very happy with the hotel. It's a typical European hotel but we were thrilled with the A/C unit that we could control in our room as it was very hot when we visited. I made a few requests for taxis and they were very accommodating. If you need extra towels or anything, just be sure to plan ahead, as they do not staff the hotel past midnight. That was always when we seemed to remember we needed them, but we just made do. I would definitely stay here again. It was within 15 minutes walking distance of everything, located on a great street that was busy enough to feel safe and also centrally located. The couple who owns the hotel was lovely, very kind and helpful.

We have just got back from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Giglio which we absolutely loved. Marco and Manuela were so friendly and helpful, they gave us lots of good tips for places to visit in the city, and they were really welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and the room was great. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was great too. Our room had modern air conditioning which was a blessing after the 35 degree Florence heat! The location is great, very close to the Accademia, and about 10 minutes’ walk from the Duomo. It is such a cute hotel, and the building itself is lovely. We loved everything about this hotel and will definitely recommend the Giglio to any family or friends visiting Florence.

We had booked for 4 nights. Excellent welcome, the owner couple is extremely kind: always there to provide information, give restaurant addresses....The hotel is quiet, while being about 15 minutes from the historic center. it is possible to leave your car in a car park (which does not belong to the hotel) and which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Excellent breakfast. For sure if we come back to Florence we will book here again.

The hotel is located about twenty minutes on foot from Florence train station, and fifteen minutes from the Duomo (it's straight ahead!). Our room was spacious and functional, the bedding very good, no complaints. Two very special mentions: - Very good breakfast, lots of fresh, quality products - Very warm welcome from Marco and his team, smiling, helpful, and lots of good advice (in French too!). A good address that I highly recommend for discovering Florence.
