3-Star Hotels in Florence

Very pleased with my stay. Hotel kindly upgraded me from a Single Room to a Double Room in low season in November, which is really nice. The room is spacious, with good natural light, double glazed windows and good ventilation/air con/heating. Toilet with stand shower is of a good size as well, not too small and cramped. Hotel location is super close to the central station in Florence, around 5 mins walk only to it, which is very ideal for travellers arriving into Florence by rail. It's slow walkable to pretty much all attractions (within 15-25 mins), so is a good place to base yourself in for a short stay. Similar to many hotels in Italy, there are a few steps at the entrance but there is a lift to get you up to your room. Check-in process is smooth and complimentary breakfast is decent. I especially love the coffee and jucie machine and pancakes offered. It'd be great if besides scrambled eggs, some kind of breakfast meats like sausages can also be offered. They do have some basic cold cuts and cheese and ham as well, yogurt, and cornflakes, it's a more diverse continental breakfast, which is great for a 3 Star Hotel. As the hotel is very close to the Train Station, you do hear trains / trams passing through from the streets, but the noise level is acceptable with the double glazed windows' insulation. I would recommend this hotel for solo travellers.

Few minutes walk from the station past McDonald’s (exit the station from the left). Hotel is set back so can easily be missed. We had a room for three, one double bed and a low camp bed. Rooms made up everyday and towels changed frequently. Wardrobe with plenty of hangers, safe, complimentary water in fridge. I asked if we could have a kettle and this was no problem. Bathroom quite big, shower cubicle with toiletries. Lovely white, big bath towels. Great location for lots of great restaurants and only minutes away from attractions. Rooms are quite warm but there is air con. Breakfast consists of yogurts, fresh fruit, breads, croissants, scrambled eggs and great coffee. Hotel staff are so helpful, even printed out our tickets for one of our trips. Would stay there again, next time exit the train station from the left!

Small but well appointed rooms, extraordinarily helpful staff, and excellent location make this hotel a great find in Florence. Let Fabrizio or Tommaso suggest and make your dinner reservations or select a tour for you. Don't be fazed by the 20 steps up to the elevator to the lobby....ring the bell at the bottom and a porter will do the heavy lifting for you. Well worth the nightly tariff. Mild suggestions include varying the appetizers at the free nightly ”happy hour” and offering a larger variety of fruit at the breakfast buffet. but all in all, a delightful property owned and well managed by grandfather, father and son.

If you're looking for a hotel with a Florence feel and it's located within walking distance, this is the best place for you! It was so disappointing to have stayed here for one day, it was a pity to leave, and it was the most satisfying place I stayed in Italy. The breakfast was also the most delicious among the places I stayed in Italy. Among the same 3 stars!! However, never make a reservation on Trip.com and make a reservation elsewhere. Service is 0 points, customer satisfaction 0 points, Namolala style 100 points. Will never use trip.com again. Those who are looking at the hotel through this trip.com, please change to another place. I regret it.

I'll start with the positives so that the review doesn't sound too much like a rant, but if you check out the other negative reviews, you'll find this one much the same - I wish I'd read them more carefully before booking! The location is fantastic. It's close to the train station (though we managed to miss the entrance as it's on a side street and not noticeable, mainly as there were workers nearby improving the pavement). As you head southeast on Via Faenza, you'll find plenty of nice cafes and restaurants (try Rosalia Salad Gourmet for breakfast and L'Imperatore Ristorante Pizzeria for excellent pizza/pasta). The hotel is also close to popular attractions, such as the Statue of David at Accademia Gallery and Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. Even Ponte Vecchio is only 10-15 minutes walk. The reception staff were friendly enough and did allow us to check in early, something we hadn't expected. Sadly, that's where the good part ends. Our room was on the first floor opposite the main building, up a steep, narrow, poorly lit staircase. The room was quite large, with a sofa bed and two single beds that had been moved together to make up a double. However, it was very dated and in need of refurbishment: the walls were marked and chipped in various places, the shower door was damaged, and, worst of all, the air conditioning was useless - even on full blast, it did nothing to cool the room, not ideal when it was 40 degrees Celsius outside! We ended up leaving it on even while we were out to see if it would make a difference, but it didn't. The beds were also uncomfortable, and we slept poorly for all three nights of our stay (not helped by the aforementioned air conditioning issues either). The shower cubicle had also not been cleaned properly before our arrival, as we found used sachets of shower gel in the tray. Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention that the shower emitted an irritating, high-pitched squeal whenever the water was running! Given that this was the most expensive hotel of our Italy trip (covering five cities), we left feeling very disappointed and only the great location did anything to improve our enjoyment. I'd suggest booking elsewhere.

The hotel is old, and the interior of the room is not too high, there are too many platform steps, there are mosquitoes sleeping at night, there is no free parking space, the hotel parking space is 18 Euros a day, and in addition to the fees paid on Ctrip, there is another 8 Euro tax. This is the hotel with the highest tax rate I have ever lived. But fortunately, there is a good free breakfast to eat.

I loved this quirky old hotel. It is old fashioned in the best possible sense; very well situated close to the train station, the Duomo and the centre of Florence - so a perfect location for shopping and sightseeing. The rooms could do with some refurbishment but are air conditioned, kept very clean, and everything works. Doubles are generous in size, single rooms are small. Breakfast is continental with cheese, ham, muesli, croissants, cake, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and detox water. Most importantly, the staff here were unfailingly courteous and helpful. They really could not do enough for us, from letting me borrow an adapter, to recommending excursions, booking taxis, and accommodating a late check out. There are trendier, more modern hotels in the area, but that is reflected in the price - you get what you pay for.

There is no hot water kettle in the room, you need to ask at the front desk. The location is very good, right in the bustling streets of the city center, making it easy to go shopping. The front desk service is also very good. kind

We couldn't have asked for a better location; close to the train station and an easy walk to all the sights we wanted to visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, with a little balcony, clean and spacious enough. The bathroom was modern, even though the hotel is charming and older. The breakfast was very good, with pastries, croissants, breads, hard boiled eggs, cheese, meats, fruit, cereals, yogurt and excellent coffee. The breakfast room was lovely with a balcony with flowers. After checking out, we were able to store our luggage for the day. We would return again!!

If you want to choose a hotel close to the Old Bridge, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Lord's Square, this is a good choice. Should belong to the nature of family hotels, the front desk has seen three, of which the grandfather is very nice, after checking out, waiting for the car to order the coffee and finally exempt. The rest of the hotel is next to the old bridge, 10 meters to the right is the old bridge, and 10 meters to the left is the Uffizi Gallery, the location is excellent. The room hardware is quite normal, but very warm.
