The room was ok. But when arriving in the room found a large floor standing fan on full. But unfortunately, no air was coming out of it. It then became painfully obvious that it was there for a reason. The room was unbearable. So unbelievably hot despite the temperature that day only being 18°. Myself, my daughter or my granddaughter hardly slept the whole night as the heat in the room was unbearable. The temperature outside went down to 10° but the temperature in the room according to the thermostat was 27° all night and we could not change it. This should not have been rented out to anybody until this issue was fixed. Putting in a pathetic floor standing fan that did not emit any air whatsoever was not the professional way of dealing with this. Very disappointed in Premier Inn.

Very poor customer service. Arrived for an early check in to be told no rooms available at 12h10pm. Only person that could help us was on a break and no one could tell us when this break had started or was going to end and only attended to us at 12h25. We had traveled a fair distances and had called the day before to ask about early check in and was led to believe that was not going to be a problem however the unhelpful person at reception did not even make an effort to assist. All she could say was, ' I can see you called yesterday but the person who took the call didn't action it' (the early check in) May I suggest that in future to have another member of staff available and not to leave the reception area of a hotel unmanned and unattended if you are offering the early check in service.

We booked 2 rooms, a family & couple, they were next to each other which was handy. Check in is computerised but there was also a very helpful lad on reception if you prefer to check in there. The rooms were excellent, lovely & clean, nice towels, toiletries etc… This was our first stay in a Premier Inn and the beds are amazing! I’ve never slept so well in a hotel. Staff were so friendly and check out was simple. This location is perfect for the channel tunnel and gave us all a great start to our holiday. I would highly recommend this accommodation. We did not eat here and we left too early for breakfast but there is a restaurant right next door if needed too.

The room was extremely hot overnight, making it one of the worst nights’ sleep I have had in a very long time. The air conditioning was clearly not working and there was no effort made by staff to let us know about the problem either before, during or after our stay. The room temperature was a constant 26.5°C and although a fan was placed in the room, it wasn’t conducive to a good night’s sleep due to the horrendous noise it made, not similar to a light aircraft landing. Fellow guests and friends of ours also staying said the same

Stopped here due to location as getting Le Shuttle the next morning. In a good location with a retail park within a few minutes drive. Bear in mind however the time of year visiting, we stayed at the start of May and the hotel was extremely hot, very uncomfortable trying to sleep with the heat, having both the window open and fan on didn't make any difference.

Completely computerised check in but not self explanatory. Door to bathroom stiff and needs a hard shove to open to get in. Dort behind all doors. Sink looked clean but when I wiped it it had a film. One of the cups was dirty There were 2 cobwebs albeit small. Not a usual experience

The noise in the hotel is so loud One towel for a double room with two people checking in never again the hotel was clean enough just not good when you have a long travel ahead the day after I would definitely look at other accommodation next time

Comfortable beds and a great layout for the family room for 2 toddlers. There was old food under the bed that hadn't been cleaned and we were charged twice at dinner. The soap dispenser didn't work and the edge of the room was not the cleanest. However it was fine for a night but wouldn't want to stay longer.

This has got to be the worst experience that we have had staying at Premier Inns. Instead of taking all of the staying guest details the manager just put everything as Mr I and then passed us on to the person at the desk who really wasn't taking any notice. We booked the meal deals which the adjoining pub has no clue what was going on and the next day the manager demanded more money for our meal deal because the person behind the desk had messed the booking up. I rang up guest services and they really couldn't be bothered and just said that they would retrain the staff.
