Arrived at 2.50 couldn’t check in until 3 pm, the boy on reception said . Then proceeded to check others in ! At 3 pm the self check in didn’t work anyway so still had to wait in line and check in With the boy . Lights didn’t work in our room ( wrong key card to get the lights working apparently) Not the best start after a 6 hour drive . No air con just a noisy fan . Possibly the worst example of a Premier Inn we have ever stayed in . What a shame As this possibly monopolizes the stays close to the EuroTunnel. Must do better !

The hotel staff on receipt are very good and polite . The Staff in the restaurant and bar are hopeless ! They are slow , have no service skills whatsoever (polite yes)but useless when it comes to efficiency . We went twice in 2 weeks , same thing !. At one point there where 6 people at the bar waiting to be served and one you girl serving who had no idea of what the job of bar staff was or is . There where another 5 staff walking about chatting behind the bar and the pub , clearly oblivious to the fact that customers had been stood there waiting for a drinks order at least 15 minutes with only 1 incapable bar staff . It would have been quicker to catch the train to France and order a drink there . I thought one experience of that pubs staff could be put down to difficult on that day , but 2 weeks later the same thing clearly point out to they are in need of waking up ! From the permanent state of sleep there in and then need to have some training ! If you’re staying here …. Take a 6 pack of drinks at least you’ll get one ! Bloody useless !

Truly horrendous experience staying here, rooms are stiflingly hot with no air-conditioning, fans provided but so noisy you can't sleep, can't leave windows open, also due to the noise. Didn't help that there was a drunken wedding party staying who were so vile the police had to be called, would never stay here again.

Such a friendly helpful welcome from the reception. There was plenty of water available to drink, and advice for parking etc. It was an extremely hot day and overnight, but when entering the rooms it was nicely airing and excellent fans that kept us cool through the night. Could not have asked for more.

My family and I stayed here the night before our shuttle crossing to France, the room was clean and tidy and the check in process was easy. We had a meal at the restaurant across the way from the hotel which was really nice, the food was good and it was easy to get a table, we booked before we got there. In the morning the shuttle was 8 minutes drive away so the perfect location for our trip.

Very Nice staff at reception. Unfortunately the last room occupants left extrement All over the loo, side, lid, back. The nice staff member at reception was altered and advised it would be reported. Also the room had no cooling system. So if you stay here, bring your own Cleaning Wipes, marigold disposable gloves, disposable house slippers, and cooling mat.🤮

We stayed here for 2 nights in early May before going to Europe on the tunnel and thought it would be a perfect stop off ...... we were so wrong!! When we arrived the temperature outside was a very pleasant 19 degrees and sunny but the thermostat in the room was showing 24!! As the day rolled into evening the temperature in the room kept rising, even though we got a floor fan from the staff it made absolutely NO difference. By the time we were ready for bed, around 11pm, the room temperature had risen to 26.5 degrees making it impossible to sleep. The best the staff could offer was a duvet cover (to use as a sheet) rather than the actual duvet - it made no difference. By the second night the room temperature was 27 degrees. We have stayed in many Premier Inns over the years and have never had a problem so decided we would contact their customer service to instigate their "good night guarantee" but were told it was basically not their problem because we had booked a hotel which was listed without aircon!!! Perhaps I am nieve but it seriously never crossed my mind to look for aircon, in the UK, in May! The attitude of the staff at the hotel, and even worse the "could not care less" attitude of their customer service has made highly unlikely to use a Premier Inn again. This particular Premier Inn is in serious need of an upgrade, especially the aircon. It looks tired and very dated and the furniture and facilities here prove it. If you want a good nights sleep then DON'T stay here!!

Really smelly room. Also no air conditioning. Asked to be moved but receptionist not able to help. Expect more for around £100/night. Will look elsewhere next time. 🙁

On arriving at 2.50, the older receptionist was not a happy, cheerful, helpful self, who barked at us, saying we could not get our room until 3 pm. Obviously having a bad day! Anyway, we registered our car so it wouldn't get towed off It seems everywhere is private land, so no free parking anywhere for anyone! The hotel was good, ample tea available, and in the pub across the way, they did a really good dinner. The breakfast was not as good as we had thought it would be.
