Stayed at the Folkestone Premier Inn before catching the Eurotunnel and had a truly miserable experience. It's clear the hotel banks on guests just staying one night and doesn't put much effort into customer comfort. The room was unbearably hot, and despite having heating/AC controls, they were completely locked out – so we couldn’t adjust the temperature at all. The window only opened an inch, and while they did provide a fan, it was incredibly noisy (sounded like a jet engine) and just pushed hot air around. We barely slept. I submitted a formal complaint but received a generic response stating it's "not covered under the Good Night Sleep Guarantee." That pretty much says it all – no responsibility taken, no real customer care. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, and I certainly won’t be staying again.
