Franklin Marriott Cool Springs

(After I left a similar review on Google, I was able to speak to other front desk, employees about how great their colleague, named Erin, is. They agreed she is amazing): We would like to point out the fantastic customer service from Erin at the front desk. I could tell she has been dealing with a cold but she was here serving the guests at an extremely high level anyway. Her kind consideration, hard work, and professional appearance are what makes Marriot stand out among other standouts in the cool springs area of Franklin/Brentwood, TN. I highly recommend you ask specifically for Erin to check you in to your room at the front desk. She’s a fantastic employee and makes the entire experience that much better. The other staff made our Christmas party wonderful, as well. Great job, Erin and Marriot staff

We felt like part of the family! Everyone was so welcoming and our room was very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches, made to order by Shelika In her own little kitchen . The nightly country singers, and the lobby with a big bar made a great place to end a busy day!

First time staying here. It was a good stay. A few things need improving. The WIFI in our room was incredibly slow and that was a big problem as we were trying to select homes to go visit. I wish there were more healthy options at breakfast, like a big bowl of granola and greek yogurt. Food that was there was good and coffee was excellent. Service was good at breakfast. The girl checking us in hotel must have been new as she didn't tell us where elevators are so we headed wrong way and then had to ask her. Also, we are Titanium Elite and she didn't tell us that breakfast is not served in M Club on weekends. We had to head to desk and then they gave us a coupon for restaurant.

We came for a wedding at a nearby venue. The hotel location was convenient and the hotel itself was fine. However, the food service is another story. Saturday morning we went to the breakfast buffet to find virtually all of the food gone. 30 to 45 minutes after we arrived some additional food was put out, but by that time we were ready to go. The next morning was worse. When we arrive at the “wait to be seated” sign, no one came. Others stopped to tell us they had been waiting on their bill and had seen no sign of anyone to help for some time. We finally decided to seat ourself. We past the server who served us yesterday and she said “go ahead and sit there and someone else will be there to help. No one came and the server we passed spent the next 20 minutes talking to a table with no other servers in sight. This experience just confirms my belief that the quality of Marriott locations has significantly deteriorated since the Marriott family left the business. I have titanium elite status and never experienced any of these issues when the Marriott family was still in charge. Very sad. The hotel itself was clean and pleasant, but the food service is in need of a serious overhaul.

Good hotel, excellent location. The hotel rooms are showing some signs of age. Rooms look older and in need of an update. Refrigerator was not plugged in and there was not an ironing board. Staff was friendly and housekeeping was good. Overall an okay hotel option.

Franklin Marriott Cool Springs is a great place to go for a quality stay when you are in the area. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need. I really like the location and everything that they have available here.
