Travelodge Beckington

I had to stay somewhere local to Bath / Frome unexpectedly and wasn't sure what I'd be able to find. I spotted the Beckington Travelodge and thought I'd check it out. I'm so pleased I did. It was the perfect location being close to half way between Bath and Frome. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and I was given a great room at a very reasonable price on the ground floor. It had a king sized and single bed with additional pillows if required and was very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. There was a clean bath/shower ensuite equipped with very generously-sized bath towels - always a treat! An M&S food shop was very nearby at the adjacent service station and a Starbucks close to the hotel, both of which supplied everything I needed for a last-minute stop. There was a nice view from my window and, apart from some noise from one of the rooms, it was quiet and peaceful. All in all I couldn't have found a better place.

Stayed for one night. There is a bp garage with an M&S in which was good, also a Starbucks next door. A ten minute walk into the village and there is a lovely greene king pub called the woollpack.

Fantastic quite little hotel would happily recommend to others for a nice peaceful stay close to major link roads but far enough away not to be bothered by traffic noise

Beware of Travelodge Beckington. We booked for one night. When we checked the website it said £39 per night plus £11.90 for breakfast. When I looked at my back account I saw I had been charged way more than I thought and then looked at the receipt to see we were charged £198.89. This is just a room, no WIFI and breakfast is in a BOX.

This was an out of the way travelodge that was not too far from Longleat and Bath. We affixed just after 3 and Casey was very friendly checking us in and letting us know there were extra tea and coffee, etc, and there would be someone to help if we needed it at all. He was later able to help out when I asked if he knew of any place to eat by producing a sheet of local places, which was very helpful. The room was tidy and nice and quiet.

What a lovely place this is , all staff I met were very friendly, easy check in , extra tea and coffee available if needed , local pubs for an evening meal and an m&s garage and Starbucks right next door , will definitely use again .
