Best Fujiyoshida Hotels

Overall as we rented a car, location is good. Our Hotel room for 3 of us has good view of Mt Fuji and the amusement park. We stayed for 2 nights for new year count down. However, 1st time in our travel experience that after the room was cleaned, we only found out the next morning that our personal toothbrushes, shaver, toothpaste etc, organized at the washing area in toilet were missing. These are personal items, and it was disappointing, and was told by front counter that they are unable to trace it. The front desk apologized and given us 3 new toothbrushes when we checked out. We hope hotel will look into this. Though the items are not expensive but to a certain this is avoidable.

We mainly chose this hotel because we wanted to see the full view of Mount Fuji. The weather was bad when we arrived on the first day, and we were disappointed that we couldn't find any trace of Mount Fuji. Fortunately, there is a large department store Diaso opposite the accommodation, which is within walking distance. There are many restaurants nearby. The landlord is very nice and prepared drinks for us. We bought food from a nearby supermarket and cooked it in the accommodation. It is fully equipped and has a washing machine and dryer. The accommodation building is three stories high, with a living room, dining room, kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor. On the second floor are two Western-style rooms and a tatami room, a bathroom and a toilet. The rooftop on the third floor has tables, chairs and a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Fortunately we saw Mount Fuji clearly the next morning. Since there was an urgent report on the day of check-out and we needed to delay our departure, we asked the hotel to delay our check-out. The hotel was very nice and only paid an extra 1,000 yen for us to delay our check-out for one hour, which made it easier for me to complete my work. There are three parking spaces in front of the house. Even if the parking lot is full, it is not far away if you need to park in the nearby parking lot. It is only a five-minute walk away. If I visit this area again, I will consider this accommodation. Our stay in this beautiful home was perfect. The host came to greet us at the door, and ensured our comfort. We did not speak the same language, so we used translators to communicate with each other. Everything at the house was extremely clean. He will help you with any problems. He tried to help order us a taxi, but then drove us to Fuji Station. He was extremely kind, and I would love to stay at his home again in the future.

A fun glamping experience. I really think the cabins could benefit from management staying in them overnight from time to time - things like no hooks to hang things, dark and smoky vestibules outside the cabins, pots that don't work on induction heat etc. could be resolved. But overall a well-managed place in a nice location.

布団が柔らかくて気持ちよく、ぐっすりと眠れました。テーブルあると嬉しく、美味しく食べられました。また宿泊に来たいと思います。
