Hotel Mystays Fuji Onsen Resort offers a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and breathtaking scenery. The highlight is undoubtedly the stunning view of Mount Fuji, visible from many rooms and the open-air onsen, making for an unforgettable experience.
The onsen itself is a must-try, with soothing natural hot spring waters perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The hotel maintains a clean and modern ambiance, with well-appointed rooms that, while not overly spacious, are designed for comfort and functionality.
Service is efficient and polite, with staff always ready to assist despite some language barriers. The breakfast buffet offers a decent variety of Japanese and Western options, fueling guests for a day of adventure. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring Fuji-Q Highland and nearby attractions, with shuttle services and easy access to public transport.
Overall, it’s a great choice for travelers looking for a relaxing stay with unbeatable views of Japan’s most iconic mountain.
The old building was renovated and 、 inside was beautiful and 、 clean room.
There was a mistake and I couldn't confirm the reservation, but 、 I was able to stay somehow with a quick response.
I think it is a good inn with human taste.

Our family stayed at the Megu Fuji plus + for two nights! We mainly chose this hotel because we wanted to see the full view of Mount Fuji. The weather was bad when we arrived on the first day, and we were disappointed that we couldn't find any trace of Mount Fuji. Fortunately, there is a large department store Diaso opposite the accommodation, which is within walking distance. There are many restaurants nearby. The landlord is very nice and prepared drinks for us. We bought food from a nearby supermarket and cooked it in the accommodation. It is fully equipped and has a washing machine and dryer.
The accommodation building is three stories high, with a living room, dining room, kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor. On the second floor are two Western-style rooms and a tatami room, a bathroom and a toilet. The rooftop on the third floor has tables, chairs and a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Fortunately we saw Mount Fuji clearly the next morning.
Since there was an urgent report on the day of check-out and we needed to delay our departure, we asked the hotel to delay our check-out. The hotel was very nice and only paid an extra 1,000 yen for us to delay our check-out for one hour, which made it easier for me to complete my work. There are three parking spaces in front of the house. Even if the parking lot is full, it is not far away if you need to park in the nearby parking lot. It is only a five-minute walk away. If I visit this area again, I will consider this accommodation.

We love this place and the very nice view of Mt Fuji. Everything here is good, spacious and walking distance to Mt Fuji Stn and 7-11.
Just that Near the railway sometimes it's a bit noisy but no problems for us. Check in system really difficult, luckily the cleaner passby to help us. We will come back one day.

The dirt floor was renovated to a nice feeling, and the kitchen was equipped with facilities that could be cooked enough if you brought in ingredients.
The bath was moldy, so I would like to make it negative, but the three rooms on the second floor, which became the bedroom, were very clean.
There were three washbasins, so it was good to stay in a large number of people.
I would like to use it if I have a chance to go nearby.

Our stay in this beautiful home was perfect. The host came to greet us at the door, and ensured our comfort. We did not speak the same language, so we used translators to communicate with each other. Everything at the house was extremely clean. He will help you with any problems. He tried to help order us a taxi, but then drove us to Fuji Station. He was extremely kind, and I would love to stay at his home again in the future.

SSTReceived the instructions to check in days before our stay, and instructions are super clear.
The house is very clean, and comes with everything we need - stove, washer and other basics. Ground floor is the living hall and bathroom, upstairs there’s one bedroom and outer area where are floor bed are placed.
We went there with average temperature of 4 degrees so the floor were freezing cold and it took a while to activate the heat.
Location wise pretty good, right opposite there’s a 7-11, and down the street 10-15 mins walk there’s the Hikawa Clock Shop, but we don’t see any restaurant nearby maybe because we were there during New Year closure
AAnonymous Userservice upon and during stay were great! however the staff were really indifferent after we checked out :( i am almost 7 months pregnant with a big belly and was standing in the cold with my luggages waiting for my husband but no one offered help. the staff just walked past me..
the cleanliness can be improved, we found a used plaster in our room at our private open air bath. and the showering area drainage is clogged, when we showered our feet became oily from the clogged drain.
but i must say we loved the amenities and activities provided by the hotel which included the taiko drum and piano performances in the night, as well as the free yukata rental.
loved the view from hotel even more! private open air bath in the room was great and temperature of the water can be adjusted by the hotel personnel as well, just give the reception a call. the mt fuji view from the open air bath on in our room was not fantastic as it was on the left side, but it was good enough. just a small view of the whole mountain. my husband went to the public open air onsen on the 10th floor (segregated timings for men and women respectively) and he said the view of the mt fuji was very very nice, five times better than in the room, and the mountain looked bigger and nearer.
the in room dining for dinner was 8 course meal and very filling. loved the black wagyu fillet steak (small piece, can’t choose doneness, it was well cooked). it was delicious!
the breakfast buffet at garden terrace had good view of the gardens too. had a wide variety of food from japanese to western. very sumptuous.
check in early after 2.30pm to enjoy the amenities and services! you get to enjoy complimentary tea at at the tea house but it closes at 6pm. club lounge free snacks and drinks will end at 6pm too.
CChayatiyaSuperb place with wonderful view.
The place is new. Modern style inside and outside.
A bit hard from people without car (or use bus).
BTW everyone stay with delightful and request to spend more night here!!
SSharonThe hotel offered everything for a perfect stay. With complimentary drinks, cookies, and a relaxing onsen, it had all the essentials in one place. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. Everything was great—no complaints at all! I would definitely return to this resort.
BBeeCCame here for my friend’s birthday celebration. Hotel has tea ceremony on arrival (free of charge) at around 4pm, in a traditional tea house facing a beautiful river, the hotel also gave us a glass of a Japanese sake (also free of charge) that we can enjoy next to the river. Room is big, came with a private hot spring in the room, hot spring and living room is facing mt Fuji, very nice room. There’s a traditional drum shows after dinner everyday, also a small game after the show. We were very lucky that we both got a gift from the game. There was cockroaches in the room, one big cockroach and a few very tiny cockroaches in the bathroom area, others than that, it’s a beautiful place to stay. Still love this hotel v much.
PPpemikaI arrived late at night from Fuji Station and had to pay 3,700 yen for a taxi. I was surprised when I got there because the house was located on a hill and the road was very dark. I asked the taxi driver to wait while I walked down to check. Luckily, the lights were on and I found the host waiting to welcome us warmly, even though it was already late.
Owner had already prepared hot water and asked what time we would like to take a bath. She even guided us to a small onsen. The host was very attentive and kind.
Although the place looked a bit scary at night from the outside, the inside was very warm and cozy. When I woke up the next morning, I felt completely rested. The room was clean, and the host’s hospitality made the whole experience feel so worthwhile. I felt like the money I spent was totally worth it—it gave me not only comfort but also beautiful memories.
The atmosphere was like staying in a countryside vacation home—quiet, peaceful, and heartwarming.
If you’re planning to rent a car, this is definitely a place I’d recommend. There’s a parking space, and it’s not crowded at all.
I truly want to recommend this place!
SShu KaiseiConveniently located right behind Fujisan Station just under 5 minutes walk! Easy checkin and staff were very friendly. There’s a common kitchen and dining area with free tea and water. Snacks, canned drinks & instant noodles also available for purchase at a low cost! There’s also a piano in the dining area which is fun. Booked the room with the Mt Fuji view and it did not disappoint! It was also spacious for an average hotel in Japan. There are a lot of free amenities in the lobby area too like free pajamas, toothbrush, etc. not near any convenience store but the hotel’s purchasable snacks are handy. Sometimes there’s a food truck parked outside as well. Local eateries are around the area too so not a worry. Best part of the hotel was their rooftop terrace where you can get a picturesque view of Mount Fuji and even Fuji-Q Highland theme park!
NnuthakulThis hotel is stunning with a great location, there are so many corners that can see Mt.Fuji (if you have luck that it's not too shy for you 😂)
AAnonymous UserStrongly recommended! We returned after 6yrs and still the best hotel. The AMAZING view of Mt Fuji is definitely unforgettable. We are very lucky to see Mt Fuji every morning (4days) from our room. The room size is consider very big in Japan for 3 of us. Onsen is also one of the best places to visit in the hotel. Restaurants and convenient shops are walking distance less than 10mins. Ample parking lots available for hotel guest too.
AAnonymous UserThe villa’s location is abit inconspicuous but no biggie. Everything is amazing - space, service, breakfast & ambience. Very cosy and homely. We loved it very much 🤍
