We arrived here by motorbike on 04/07/24. The hotel is situated on a very busy road in Genoa. The receptionist came out and let us in to the secure private parking area. Hotel Cantore is well situated for local bars, cafes, restaurants etc. The room was very clean and of a good size to accommodate 2 people and all our motorbike gear. The staff very very friendly and helpful. We would like to say a special thank you to Luciano, who helped us out and let us stay there all afternoon until our motorbike was recovered as it had broken down. Sadly they were fully booked so we could not stay an extra night. This hotel is very well priced, clean and convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

attracted by the many super positive reviews, as the hotel was close to my work appointment I selected it to sleep there for a night. I'm sorry to have to review this property in an unrewarding way, but I will try to do so in a constructive way. I'll start from the positive things, the staff is really kind and polite, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is a very positive note, little choice but quality. in my opinion, however, the structure is very little, one perceives that it is a building "adopted as a hotel", the reception is non-existent as are the common areas, the empty mini-bar which only wastes electricity and noise. the impact of the rooms is really sad, they look like a hospital or a Franciscan guesthouse as do the bathrooms. I fully understand that the renovation would cost a fortune, I don't dispute this but the fact that it is a 3 star with 3 star prices. in my opinion it is a family-run two-star hotel. I won't talk about certain encounters on the stairs as I'm not 100% certain of what I saw and I don't allow myself to make judgements/evaluations.

Weekend with the family to greet friends, 2 adults 2 children. The rooms are "minimal" (not to mention old and poor!), not exactly clean, cold due to the lack of heating and noisy! Breakfast is the only positive note, only thanks to the two very polite and helpful girls (without them I would have given zero!). The area is BAD, coming back at night (after 9pm is already enough) is not pleasant even for a man, let alone for a family... Finally, the price... between unclassifiable and unjustifiable, it is worth less than half! Overall, a difficult stay to forget, fortunately excellent for the Genoese Friends!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!!!

Excellent location, easily reachable as soon as you exit the motorway. We traveled by public transport. New, beautiful apartment with very comfortable bed and sofa bed! Massimiliano was really kind and very helpful! Advised!

Genoa is a city with a thousand facets. We stayed in this hotel, recommended to us by a local tourist guide. Hospitality, kindness, cleanliness and great availability from all the staff made our mini holiday a precious memory. 3 star hotel all deserved! Clean, convenient, comfortable, helpful, friendly and very professional staff. The courtesy kit products were good and were complete in every way. Free bottle of water for each day of stay. Above all, the cleanliness of the room and the entire structure stands out. Congratulations I will definitely be back.

Convenient to reach from the port, in a nice building with outdoor space, a large terrace where you can have a rich breakfast and private parking. Simple, but cozy, clean and quiet room, with a bathroom equipped with everything. The staff is very kind and helpful.
