Fancourt is a beautiful country estate. Amazing mountain views. Beautiful spa. Lots of activities fishing, cycling and golf. Pool area and spa of a very high quality, particularly the roman baths. Reception and housekeeping staff extremely courteous and very friendly. Breakfast restaurant was beautiful and service was top notch. Great variety and healthy varried option. Unfortunately rooms fall far below standard for premier pricing. Strange odour in room corridor. Dark dingy foyer in front of our room. There was no light on and we were told its day light savings. Rooms a bit tired. Grey carpets. Furnishings had chipped paints. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom had all needed ammentities but definitely not 5 star standard. I think for premier dollar you paying, they have to do a major upgrade of rooms.

We stayed at the Fancourt for 1 night only but we were able to enjoy the property the next day for breakfast. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The shower was great as we were coming in from a safari. The only negative would be that the ice bucket I had ordered with our meal was forgotten, no big deal really. Beautiful property.

Really loved the experience at Fancourt. The rooms are nice and facilities of spa, pools and fitness centers is outstanding. The golf courses are excellent. the Links Course is one of the Top in South Africa. It has 5 restaurants which were all great!

Had a 3 days stay, and we enjoyed every moment. From reservation through to checking us in our rooms, ambience, room facilities , staff friendliness, food , sustainability environment, cleanliness were all spot on. I would like to visit again and will definitely recommend it to friends.
