George Town Hotels with Pools

The hotel location is at Lebuh Farquhar, George town Penang & nice spot for tourists to go anywhere. Easy to get grab. Room hotel is clean tidy and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. No deposit when you check in the hotel. Parking is free provided by the hotel. Easy to get food and beverage by walking distance until 2am.

By the time we reach hotel from airport just pass 1pm, but we still go to check in try whether is the room ready. Luckily room was ready and we able to leave our luggage and head to next destination. The room overall is ok, the only problem is the piping whereby it easily get choke. The basin waste water take time to clear. But not a big issue, as the location is very great just few mins walk to one of the local night market. A lot of restaurant nearby. Will choose this hotel again, if we plan to visit penang again.

Thanks to the friendly staff especially Adeline respond fast and fulfilled my request on birthday decorations. Things need to improve is the room musty smell, gym room out of order and limited parking. Pleasant stay due to room is big and friendly staff.

Highly recommended. Superb location,beside got few shopping mall. Clean room,comfy bed, a lot TV program. Nice breakfast buffet spread. Free lounge access and drinks. Nice lounge setting,cozy,relax,served cake and fruits too. Staff friendly. Small pool.

What I like about this hotel are the following - location, automated parking, provision of shuttle service to breakfast spots since the hotel does not offer breakfast. Their staff are also very helpful as they offer advice (such as whether to utilise morning shuttle service to breakfast spots, how to use automated parking within the hotel) and suggestions to guests. Upon arrival at the check-in counter, their staff offered cool drink to guests and this is what I observed sets itself apart from other hotels. The room is comfortable too and having 2 aircon units at separate spaces and ability to turn off is a plus. The view from the pool is nice too. Overall, it is an enjoyable stay and there is nothing that I do not like.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. It was well-maintained, clean, and had all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The location is another major plus—it's ideally situated with several great eateries nearby, so you’re never far from a good meal. Even more convenient, there's a mini mart in the lobby, which is perfect for picking up any snacks or essentials you might need during your stay. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay. It’s a great value and I’d definitely book again.

Stayed here one night in family suites with 2 rooms with my 2 kids, the hotel is not far from Komtar penang. Parking is not an issue even for our MPV, their rotating car park with escalator can move the car into empty slot. Check-in is fast and we stayed at level 19th with nice city and some ocean view. Room is very big with a living room, master room with big washroom and changing cabinet, and another connecting room. Wifi is fast and there are 19 tv channels to choose from. Next morning we went for their gym at level 22, not very big but good enough with 5-6 workout machines. Breakfast is at level 21 buffet styles, choice is just nice, not many but food is ok with reasonable price, only RM21 per pax.

Though the room is not big, everything needed is in the room. Parking is convenient. There are few good restaurants on the lobby floor. Nearby to the hotel, easy to find food. Will come back again.

Public transport also easy to access since it was near to Komtar Overall: St. Giles Wembley Penang offers fantastic value for money with its top-notch service, modern facilities, and central location. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this hotel is a solid choice for your stay in Penang.

The hotel is quite old and the maintenance has not been kept up to maintain service level, e.g. aircon that is not cold, temperature cannot be adjusted because the knob is missing, closet doors that cannot be closed, power plug that is unsecured, dirty kettle.
