Surprised us with luggage delivery service. The attendant lifted the luggage up with ropes via a hook to the upper floor before it was delivered to the guest room. Nice heritage ambiance for a short stay.

Facilities: Although relatively simple, you can feel that the store is full of care and has everything you need.
Hygiene: Very clean, I feel like home in this environment
Environment: Surrounded by Little India, you can walk more than 100 meters to the beach to see the sea. There is a ferry on the other side of the sea.
Service: The service is very good. The boss personally helps you with your luggage, and also asks if you want an omelette. He also gives you an Indian pancake to try, which is very considerate.

The staffs were the nicest I have ever met, warm, sincere and very helpful. The room we stayed was comfortable with great shower and good quality of shower gel and shampoo. Needless to say it is at a great location. Breakfasts covered a wide spread of food. We had a wonderful times here. Thank you to the staffs who made the difference.

I cannot say enough about how well I was treated here. The staff are wonderful and they take a personal interest in ensuring that your stay is perfect. Breakfast was good and I stayed for dinner one evening as well and it was delicious and affordable. My room was comfortable and I was worried about the noise from the busy streets below but by 10PM all was quiet and I slept really well. I was there during ***** New Year celebrations and the hotel was in the heart of the action and it was very fun and exciting. I highly recommend staying here when you are in Penang.

BEST HOTEL on this trip! No only did it live up to everything it advertises the staff, the location, the quality of the experience and the food surpassed all of our expectations! STAY HERE if you are visiting Georgetown and Penang! You will not be disappointed!

Stayed 4 nights at the Ren I Tang in Georgetown and found it a lovely place to stay full of character and history and the most and wonderful staff who made our stay. Its a lovely oasis to return to after a day out and about, perfectly sited in the middle of Georgetown's old quarter. The room (12) was lovely, great bed, large space, so heritage, facing onto the main thoroughfare which made it an interesting place to chill. You could almost feel that its a place that any aspiring author would write there first novel Breakfast was lovely and varied and it was nice to feel cared for and that if you needed something or advice it was not a problem. Would recommended this place without reservation.
