Had a pleasant family stay at Red Rock Hotel! Great location on Jalan Macalister, close to Penang’s famous hawker food. Our room was spacious and clean, though a bit dated. The pool was great for the kids, and the staff were friendly.
Hotel could use some renovations, but for the price, it’s a good budget-friendly option in George Town.

At first the ac is not cold enough, but after a quick assist from front desk the ac problem is fix. The location is very convenience for us. But we got a smaller size bedroom than before. Overall is ok

Hotel is walking distance to komtar and surrounding attractions.
Room with bathtub and swimming pool.
Parking is limited. First come first serve.

Pro :
1. Worth to stay as easy to access to happening area.
2. Free car park.
Cons :
1. Soundproofing room need to improve especially near the swimming pool room.
2. Odor from toilet when coming back from outside before enter the room but after switch on the air ventilation fan will be fine.
