Well... I don't even know where to begin... The Fereniki Hotel basically doesn't exist... what happens is that the MARE Hotel chain has five or more buildings in this area and places guests depending on their availability and interest in various complexes. The photos that appear on the websites show pools and accommodations that are not available. All the guests who were unlucky enough to stay in the yellow building asked to be moved to other buildings. This one is far from the restaurant, reception, has no pool, and no Wi-Fi. This building is used to accommodate all the local employees and workers who work in the area, many immigrants and people who come to work during the summer season. I have nothing against these workers and I'm glad they're working to have a better life, because we all have to work. But I don't think it's fair to put everyone in the same building, workers and tourists alike. It's ungrateful for people to get up at 5 a.m. to go to work, and for those on vacation to be woken by the immense noise they make getting ready. But there's even worse... the smell, cleanliness, and condition of this building, and the feeling of insecurity is terrifying... look at the photos... A very serious piece of advice... PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL...

This was the worst hotel ever! We arrived and needed to check in at a different hotel, that was okay…. except for the facts there was noone at that reception for over 1,5 hour. We were just about to leave when a young man appeared and brought us to a different hotel……. which looked nothing like the pictures. He gave us the room 731 except this room was already occupied by a different tourist. He told us he would get a different room for us and that he would be right back…. suprise he didnt come back. I eventually went to get him and he was just lounging in one the chairs at the reception. I was getting irritated because we had just traveled over 9+ hours and just wanted to shower. He walked back with me to the other hotel and called someone else to get a key ( which was also very strange). He opened another room for us but it was absolutely disgusting. The bathtub was yellow, there was mold and no airco. It smelled very bad and it was nothing like the pictures shown online. Eventually me and my mom decided that we did NOT want to stay here, especially because he opened a door from a room that was already occupied, we did not feel safe. Eventually we get our stuff, return the key and booked a different hotel.

Do not book a stay at this hotel – it was an absolute nightmare! The air conditioning didn’t work and was leaking water into the room, and no one even bothered to come and check it despite multiple complaints. The furniture was falling apart, the entire place was dirty, and at times, there was no hot water available. They had different zones for guests depending on the price they paid and the colour of their wristband — it honestly felt like segregation. The staff were rude, and reception wouldn’t even let you enter another part of the hotel just to ask a simple question unless you were staying in that section. There was absolutely no respect for privacy. Housekeeping entered the room whenever they wanted, ignoring the "Do Not Disturb" sign — or even worse, some rooms didn’t have a sign at all, and you’d have to make your own (not that they would respect it anyway). Don’t expect to sleep in peace. The staff openly admitted they were aware of the issues but claimed that management didn’t care. One even advised me to take photos of everything and complain to my travel agent. It’s been nearly a year, and I’m still dealing with it. Save yourself the trouble — avoid this hotel at all costs! It’s truly terrible.

This "hotel" is a total fabrication. It has none of the facilities it shows on its website. Please, please check the majority of the reviews and the evidence in the photos. I am amazed that certain holiday companies are still selling holidays here. The only good reviews are put on by staff. Georgioupolis is beautiful and well placed for buses to resorts. Choose your accommodation carefully.

Avoid this place at all costs. The rooms are dirty and infested with bugs. The hotel appears to accommodate construction workers who are actively working on the property, leading to frequent disturbances in the morning. The staff are unhelpful and engage in deceptive practices. There is no air-conditioning, and cleanliness is severely lacking. Housekeeping services are only provided after repeated requests. Overall, this establishment is poorly maintained and does not offer a comfortable or pleasant stay. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

We as a family of 4 had an amazing time. Room and balcony were fine. We only slept in there. Few drinks on the balcony with wife and had a lovely view of pool and sea. Food was Good. Kids loved it. None of us complained about choice. And staff went above and beyond. Thank you Fereniki team

We recently stayed at Fereniki Resort and it was a great experience. It is a very nice hotel with good restaurant. All the staff are so friendly. Excellent service and atmosphere, dishes were served very fast and were delicious. Rooms are clean and spacious. The view was also good too. Very pleased with the experience.

I stayed in the Fereniki hotel 5 years ago and that’s why I booked it again, we turned up only to find that the hotel was under complete renovation and a building site. We were put in an appalling block of rooms that were so run down 😥 we were moved to a different room and building, it was basic but we had no choice. The staff were brilliant, George the porter (groom as they’re known) was so friendly and helpful as were all the other staff, who totally understood the situation that a lot of guests were experiencing. I’m amazed that holiday companies are still selling the hotel rooms for a hotel that is under construction 🤬 totally being miss sold. Also the all inclusive drinks by the pool are different from the other hotels that share the pool, so you’re only allowed the local spirits (🤢 even for cocktails) but everyone else is allowed the full menu of drinks. The barman is brilliant (Pete I think his name was) The room was cleaned daily , so very impressed with the housekeeping team. When the hotel is fully finished and ready I’m sure it will be amazing.
