Just back from house of gods Glasgow today. When we walked in it was like no other hotel we’ve ever been in. Very well thought out,” from the orient express themed lounge on the ground floor, to the ‘secret garden’ sky bar/ lounge. It’s themed but classy, some places work to a brief and it doesn’t come across as authentic, but house of gods, my mrs face as we walked in, she was impressed. Staff were excellent - From Sharon at the front desk, friendly and welcoming - first ever hotel where they’ve offered to help with luggage. Tom - the gent at the bar, going above and beyond to help get the drinks just right… he nailed it! I had an issue getting the aircon off and a wee wattsapp 40 seconds later, someone is at the door to put it right. Nothing was a hassel nothing was a bother, which is rare these days. Staff were top notch, the room was classy and comfortable. Even the security, when u step outside for fresh air, they keep close watch ( without being intrusive) Which is very reassuring. You get the feeling no matter what, when your with them your taken care of. The breakfast in the sky bar was excellent. At this point I’d like to point out the price. It’s competitively priced for the area. Most places I come back from a trip and think, that wasn’t worth it but house of gods definitely was a rare experience, worth every penny. We will go back. Thanks.

Great location, beautifully furnished Hotel with warm, friendly, professional service from well trained invested staff. Will definitely be back! We booked a Cabin Room which though small is very well equipped for a comfortable short stay. We enhanced our stay with prosecco on arrival, a bottle of prosecco with chocolates in our room, a £20 bar voucher, milk and cookies later in the evening and breakfast. Super value for £69!

We stayed for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. This stay was a re-do for us from a previous stay and the experience from the staff was just amazing. They upgraded us to the Suite which was an experience in itself. We loved the bathtub! Cocktails, service, and breakfast in the morning were all excellent and we can't wait to stay again.

Good stay with wife for anniversary room we had is very small but they are clever with it so it is manageable. Cookies and milk is fun - We also went to the rooftop restaurant and had the fish platter which was absolutely fantastic.. what is actually all in it?

We stayed here for my girlfriend’s birthday and the overall experience was fantastic! I have never stayed in a hotel anywhere where all the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. It really does make such a big difference to your stay. An extra special mention should go to the manager (John) who really did go above and beyond to make our stay extra special by arranging tickets for us to go see a musical on the Saturday night. He couldn’t do enough for us and was amazing to deal with. He had a great sense of humour too! The decor of the hotel was wonderful. We stayed in one of the “cabin rooms” and although it was lovely, it was a lot smaller than we expected. In hindsight, booking one of their other larger rooms would definitely have been worth it. We took one of their “Treat me like I’m famous” packages and it was great to be treated so well with prosecco on demand. Overall, a fantastic hotel to stay at for a luxury break away.

We had the most amazing stay at House of Gods Glasgow. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt luxurious and personal. Hannah at reception was absolutely lovely, so welcoming and personable, and she even showed us to our room, which made such a nice touch. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, and it was beautiful. Every detail felt special, the decor, the atmosphere, and that stunning gold bath! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the whole space just oozed luxury. After 9pm, we had milk and cookies delivered to our room, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch, it really made the evening feel cosy and indulgent. Breakfast in the Sacred Garden was a perfect end to our stay. The setting is gorgeous, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everything about our stay felt well thought out and unique. We’ve stayed many times, and it’s always such a treat, truly one of our favourites in Glasgow!

First time at this hotel, really looking forward to it as a 13th wedding anniversary treat that we travelled 2 hours each way for. Husband had upgraded us to the treat me like im famous package. On arrival we were given our room key - no mention of the prosecco on arrival etc. No info on check out/breakfast. Room was lovely, it was a cabin room. Balloons, petals, prosecco and chocolate waiting for us. We had a 7pm reservation on the rooftop bar. We arrived and asked the waitress about our prosecco and millionaire cocktail that we hadn't had yet so she apologised and got us these first which was great. We ordered 3 mini plates, the steak chimichuri - we were asked how we would like it cooked which we said rare but when it arrived it was so thin there's no way it could be cooked any other way than well done. The hummus was ok, would have been better if the carrots had been peeled as they did look dirty/dry. The pork belly was nice. We had to go to the bar in the evening to order the milk and cookies as there was no button in our room. Two plates ended up arriving 10 mins apart. We were in room 205, the beeping of the lift was annoying through the night but from 530am when I presume the cleaners start there was rumbling back and forward from what I believe is a store cupboard beside the room. We were both then awake for the day. We had no information on late check out or breakfast times etc so had to get these by the WhatsApp service but we had no reply till 10am when we had already just went to rooftop bar to chance that breakfast was on. From start to finish it was just very disappointing. As I explained to reception we always usually go to premier inn but for a nice treat we decided on a nicer hotel that came with a good package that we were happ to pay for and travel for. But had we not asked for nearly every part of it, we wouldnt have got the perks of the package.
