Spa Hotels in Gothenburg

I needed to arrange a conference at the same hotel a trade show was being held. Based on a previous experience I thought all would be ok, I was wrong. The hotel seems to work openly against your actual requirements. I'd asked for rooms to be reserved which proved a problem. I'd said from the outset that we'd require a group dinner with menu choices, this also proved to be a problem which resulted in me needing to find a restaurant nearby who could help. Ridiculous that Gothia towers (at it's size) expects a large group to all eat the same meal with no regards to choice, whereas a local restaurant can accommodate you seems strange to say the least. When arriving at the conference rooms I was taken aback that I wasn't able to meet my contact whom I'd shared so many emails. It was a faceless envelope handover and the mention of 'ask at reception if you need anything'. The only positive from this was a lady called Christina who was able to help locate items that had been shipped ahead, I'm grateful for her help. The breakfast room at the hotel was disorganized chaos, find somewhere to sit by yourself and get on with things. It reminded me of an all you can eat option in a hotel in Egypt years ago. An experience I never repeated, much like this event left me with the same thought!

I always stay at First Hotel G. The location is very good, right above the train station. You can take the airport bus directly from the airport (from terminal to terminal), but it is not noisy and has good sound insulation. The hotel is small and beautiful. The breakfast is good, with fruits, yogurt, bread, cheese, charred bacon and eggs, sausages, etc. There is also a small gym. Opposite the hotel is the Nordstan shopping mall, and there are many dining options around. Highly recommended

The hotel is located next to the railway station and looks very beautiful. Especially at Christmas time, the hotel service is very considerate, and it will help bring parking to pick up the car. Breakfast is OK. The restaurant on the second floor is no problem except for being expensive. :-) The swimming pool on the roof is particularly great. Although it is a bit smaller, it is not here for exercise after all, but the atmosphere is very good!

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a while, especially for the price which is excellent value for a hotel in the heart of the city. Very close to the airport bus (100m) and walking distance to everywhere downtown. The staff were all smiling and very helpful, and special mention to the excellent buffet breakfast. The room was a very good size, as was the bathroom. Fairly fast wifi, and loved the unusual set of dumbells in every room for a quick workout!! Will definitely stay here again, and highly recommend.

Gothenburg (pronounced ”Gothenburg” locally) It is a distance from the central station, but if it is a bright time, take the tram number 9 from the tram stop near the information center and take the Stenpiren tram stop. Get off at and walk for a few minutes. A taxi costs about 200 SEK (a little over 2000 yen, depending on the taxi company). Is the boarding time about 10 minutes in each case? The exterior was under construction when I went, but the lobby and the atmosphere of the room were satisfactory. The front desk is also friendly. ^ --^ Please note that there is a deposit here (because there are paid drinks in the room)! The breakfast was well kept warm and the taste was delicious.

This place is just perfect. When we checked in we got a refreshment while we paid for the room. We had the most incredible suite. The ceilings had to be 16’ at least with equally huge windows looking over an amusement park. It was my husbands birthday s And they gave up a platter of fruits and cheese to make it extra special. We had 2 bathrooms which was really nice The bed was heavenly and super comfortable. The shower had great hot water pressure and the toiletries supplied were superior. We checked out the spa which was included. It was modern and clean. The following morning the we had the best breakfast of our entire trip. The service for a complimentary was five stars. The night before they asked what time we like to leave and they had our car ready waiting before we could even call with bottles of water added . What are great hotel. One of the best we have stayed in anywhere in the world. This is a place we would come back to without hesitation.

Cozy hotel with friendly personnel, and an okay single room. It wasn’t large, but it was clean. More than good enough for the two nights I stayed there. But it was in need of maintenance though: the doors and such were quite badly damaged. I’ve added breakfast to my booking, and this was really good! Lots to choose from, and delicious. One complaint: the rooms facing the street are not soundproofed enough in my opinion, too much of the noise of the quite busy road outside came in😕 Would stay again though, and I heard the double rooms are less noisy as these don’t face the street.

The location is quite good, with a bus stop nearby and you can reach to the city center easily. The room is clean and comfortable. No problem at all.

We stayed for two nights with a Golf-package that included two green fees and 3-course dinner for two nights. In short we where surprised by the quality of the food, really good so the restaurant comes with high praise. Excellent service! Pool-area is really nice with great offerings at pool bar. We also really enjoyed the golf course, diverse with great kept and challenging greens. Good location to the inner-city of Gothenburg, less than 15 min by car.
