Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Gothenburg

Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Gothenburg ★★★★

📍 Södra Hamngatan 59, Gothenburg

"Excellent location with very friendly staff. Breakfast is not included in the room price, which seems common in Sweden."

Clarion Hotel the Pier ★★★★

📍 Pumpgatan 5, Gothenburg

"All was great especially the service and staff. The restaurant and breakfast buffet was great. The room is spacious but was looking over the lobby, no chance to get any daylight in the room and generally room light was low, making you don't want to stay in the room unless to sleep."

Gothia Towers & Upper House

📍 Trädgårdsgatan 6, Gothenburg

"The rooms were small but well-equipped! The kettle was very clean. The bathroom was refreshing and lovely, and the toiletries were all from Bulgari. The lobby and restaurant were decorated in a luxurious retro style. The hotel's rooftop restaurant was perfect for afternoon tea and cocktails 🍹, and the breakfast was exquisite and delicious. The dinner restaurant was a Michelin one-star restaurant, but after eating there twice, I felt it was somewhat average. It's similar to the local Aegean Hotel. Overall, it could be considered the best in Gothenburg, Sweden."

Hotel Heden, BW Signature Collection
9.2 (46 reviews)

Hotel Heden, BW Signature Collection ★★★★

📍 Sten Sturegatan 1, Gothenburg

"The hotel is a courtyard-style hotel. It is recommended to choose a room near the periphery. Below the inner circle rooms is the courtyard, which is the hotel's dining and bar. It is a little noisy. The hotel's own parking lot is a small area in the large open-air parking lot next to the hotel. It is very small and you can hardly wait for a parking space. There are many public parking lots in other areas around. You need to use the Swedish parking APP to pay. You can bind a credit card to pay. After parking, enter the parking lot identification number. When you need to leave, just pull the progress bar of the APP. It is charged by time. The Hasselblad Center is in the art museum. You don't need to go there specifically. You can check in at the Hasselblad statue at the door. The Volvo Museum is temporarily closed, so you don't need to go there specifically."

Clarion Hotel Karlatornet
8.7 (111 reviews)

Clarion Hotel Karlatornet ★★★★

📍 Cassiopejagatan 14, Gothenburg

"Good hotel, a bit dark rooms maybe as lighting is spotlights. Good TV with streaming option. Very good breakfast, especially bread but typical Swedish breakfast with few hot dishes and a bit crowded sometimes. Here too a bit dark, difficult to read signs at the food (if you need reading glasses) as the color of the labels matches the dark. There are a few restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. 40 minute walk to the center if you don't take the bus/boat/tram. Nearby there is cheaper and also free 2 hour parking. Outside the hotel expensive even at night. Despite the name, the hotel is not in Karlatornet but in an extension."

Comfort Hotel Panorama ★★★★
"Stayed for one night only but wouldn't have minded staying longer. Room is well-lit, small but comfy and definitely fine for one person. Breakfast was pretty good and had a good variety of options, just a bit crowded (understandably so because I think all bookings include breakfast by default). Luggage storage is free but not super secure; the front desk locks the storage room but then you place and take your own bags from inside, so there's nothing stopping someone else from taking your bag. Location - need to take a bus to the train station; also not much in the immediate vicinity."

"Great staff, lovely rooms. Fantastic location, overlooking the train station so request a room on the other side if this will bother you. Very accommodating when we needed a super early breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
