We are traveling in China for 3 weeks from the US and loved our stay in Guilin. Everyone is super kind and helpful who works there and it is a great location. The rooms were clean and nice!

Nice location, walkable from Guilin Station and the pagodas. Inn is equipped to host foreigners with english menus and maps. Room is basic but pretty comfortable. Overall clean. Just that some small details such as washroom door handle had some stains.

Nice hotel location in town. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner can speak English and very helpful and friendly too. There are Halal eateries too nearby. So my Muslim friends come to Guilin!

A great place to stay. It was clean and close to many restaurants. The main pedestrian street is around 20 minutes walking distance away but that's ok as there is a lot to see on the way or even buses. The staff was really helpful with giving us instructions and the hotel is walking distance from Guilin railway station. I recommend staying here.

My stay at Travel Light Inn was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, making it super convenient to explore the area.
The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere ensured a great night’s sleep.
But what truly made my stay exceptional was the staff! The team at Travel Light Inn is incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant experience, offering great local tips and always greeting me with a smile. Their hospitality really stands out!
I highly recommend Travel Light Inn to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Travel Light isn’t just a hostel—it’s a home base for adventure. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, and families alike. I’d return in a heartbeat!
The team here deserves a standing thumb-up They greeted me in fluent English and Chinese, stored my luggage at all hours, and even helped plan a last-minute Li River tour. Their warmth made me feel like family.
Tip: Book early; this gem fills up fast!

It’s not a fancy hotel, but it served its purpose as a transit hostel. The building is a bit old, no TV in the room, but sufficient. The location is a bit of a walk from tourist attractions, but the best thing about this place is its customer service. Jerry is the nicest, most helpful, and honest front desk I’ve encountered in my entire China trip so far. He answered my endless questions and concerns, and gave wonderful suggestions about where to go and what to do. I would come back to stay here just for his service alone. Bonus: there’s a wonderful massage place across the street, their service is cheap and very authentic.
