"OK hotel, it has the basics covered and is located next to some shops and fast food places (this was handy as we arrived after the restaurant had closed). Breakfast service doesn’t start until 7am which is quite late so we had to skip it on our last morning. The toilet kept getting blocked and the shower room wasn’t the cleanest."

"This is my second stay at this hotel, and I booked the same room type. Upon my early arrival, the room wasn't ready – it was either still occupied or hadn't been cleaned. The only reported issue for room 1820 was a non-functioning AC. Housekeeping had flagged it the day before, yet the maintenance team only came to fix it *after* I had already checked in. As a guest, I was quite frustrated, but given my early arrival and the hotel's attempt to accommodate, I didn't make a fuss. However, less than an hour after it was 'fixed,' the AC stopped cooling again. When housekeeping checked, they claimed high occupancy meant the AC units were overworked. They offered a fan and asked me to 'make do'. Secondly, the hotel's buffet selection was limited, but worse, the salad greens were withered and stale, and many dishes clearly looked like leftovers from the previous meal. Desserts seemed several days old. In the Japanese section, the salmon and tuna had been sitting out for too long, severely compromising their flavor. The person slicing the salmon should be a genuine expert in Japanese cuisine, not just someone capable of cutting slices and dressed as a chef. The food quality was abysmal. I'd actually given feedback a year ago, so it's clear neither the culinary team nor management has made any improvements. Thankfully, a staff member from the F&B department (named **Zhi) promptly calmed me down – kudos to them! While the hotel's hardware is acceptable, service and management are what truly count. Having had such a poor dining experience, I decided to try the SPA. I booked the most expensive option, over 800 for an hour, for two people. But heading downstairs, I was shocked. A five-star hotel's spa should be clean and professional, offering a commensurate experience for such high prices. Instead, the spa was located within a hair and beauty salon, appearing completely unofficial. They even admitted it was outsourced to a third party. I have to ask, has a five-star hotel really stooped to this? Where is the management oversight? This Jining trip made me think people here might not prioritize food; they aren't discerning. And a five-star hotel's spa shouldn't just outsource to a street-side salon instead of bringing in reputable brands. How do you justify charging 400, 600, or 800+ for these services? The F&B department needs training, and the head chef requires innovation. I sincerely hope for a much better experience on my next stay!"

"Had a fantastic stay! The location is a huge plus, very close to shopping areas and attractions, making it super convenient for exploring and dining without detours. Room facilities are well-maintained; the TV picture quality was clear, Wi-Fi signal was stable, and there were plenty of charging outlets – thoughtful details. The service was incredibly warm; they proactively helped with luggage during check-in and even provided helpful tips for local sightseeing. Any requests were handled quickly. Cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, odor-free, and had a great wet/dry separation. For this price, the experience was outstanding – excellent value for money. Highly recommend to anyone planning a trip!"

"This hotel was truly amazing and I have to give it a thumbs-up! Its location in the high-tech zone makes it incredibly convenient for getting around, and the amenities were beyond our expectations. The room was incredibly well-appointed, with a high-definition smart TV that could cast its screen to my phone, making it incredibly comfortable to curl up on the sofa and watch a show at night. The high-speed WiFi was flawless throughout, making it incredibly easy to work and watch videos. There was even a mini bar for storing drinks—perfect attention to detail. The bathroom had a clean, dry/wet area, a spacious sink, and even a soft-lit makeup mirror—perfect for ladies. The public areas also didn't disappoint. The lobby lounge area was elegant, with free printing and charging services. The gym was brand new and well-equipped, with everything from treadmills to free weights, so I didn't miss out on a workout during my stay. The front desk was also very attentive, answering every question and providing helpful tips for nearby attractions. With such comprehensive amenities and thoughtful touches, I'll definitely stay here again next time and have already recommended it to my colleagues!"

The hotel is located in the center of Jining, so it is very far from the highway intersection. Parking must be underground. The underground parking lot lacks guidance and the signs are unclear. Housing and cleanliness: Details need improvement! During our two-day stay, the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast through Ctrip! The breakfast was of a high standard, guaranteed quality, and a wide variety! The only downside was the loud speaker 📣 from the fruit shop downstairs was too loud. I hope the hotel owner can discuss this with them!!!"

TThe MerlionSummary Great location BUT loud music at 745/8am daily for 30mins , plus cigarette stench in rooms Location Excellent, right Infront of Kong Temple (it's huge), HOWEVER be warned of the loud music coming from the temple and cigarette smell (read below). Kong Mansion is about 5mins walk from the Temple's right , and then the cemetery is located behind the There is a performance at the front of the temple gates at 8am every morning - the music is so loud it will wake you up from 745am 😂 10mins walk to their pedestrian street , you will find Luckin Coffee, Hey Tea etc and I highly reccomend MOBEN Thai restaurant located about 5mins walk (north) from Hey Tea . Rooms We walked into a room which stunk of cigarette smell. Suspect it was either coming through the shared air vents or the linen/towels , as if they were dried at a location where others smoke nearby. It's a pity because it's a really nice hotel. We had someone trying to enter the lift with a lighted cigarette in his mouth , and I had to push him out . That's crazy . Breakfast Simple and nice local spread. Gym Only 1 threadmill and 1 spinning bike , shared in the same room as the guests washing machine & dryer. Staff Very helpful and polite staff but they don't speak English. Have your Google translator ready
