"Upon arrival i found out that Trip.com botch my reservation. i booked a garden suite that offered a king bed or two doubles. My search was 1 room 2 adults i was giving Punta Cana. princess suites. the resort refuse to check me and my sister in because a phone rep told me that my booking was good for two. had to use my spending money to pay extra cause Trip.com did not put my sister on the booking. food was nasty, cold and picked over. fresh food was not put out often enough. Flies were all over the food. wait staff at the steak house was rude and nasty. Refuse to correct my order after they messed it up. Spent an entire night hungry. beautiful spot but will never go to this resort again nor will i book with trip.com"

"I recently stayed at the Grand Bavaro Princess Resort in Punta Cana for 4 nights, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing due to a THEFT. After returning home, I discovered that jewelry I had carefully stored inside a pouch within my makeup and skincare bag was missing. These were not items left out in the open — they were placed בתוך my personal belongings, which indicates that someone went through my things. During my stay, my sunglasses also disappeared. At the time, I assumed I had misplaced them and even checked with Lost & Found, but nothing was reported. Given what I discovered later, I now believe those were stolen as well. This situation is very distressing. Beyond the monetary value, the jewelry had sentimental importance as they were gifts. What is most concerning is the lack of security — guests should feel safe leaving their belongings in their room without fear of someone searching through their personal items. I have contacted the hotel and requested an investigation, but I want to make other travelers aware of this experience. I strongly recommend exercising caution if staying at this resort. "This resort was beautiful and had lots to do. Children are allowed, there’s a kids area and even a teen hang out. There are multiple pools and a beach. There are about 5 specialty restaurants that open at night, but require reservations—I ate at Fogo and it was delicious. During the day, there’s a buffet snack bar, coffee shop, and icecream bar available, plus a sports bar that’s open 24/7. In the evenings, the lobby has entertainment, including shows and a DJ. Theres a trolly that comes every few minutes to take you around the resort if you don’t want to walk. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful wildlife roaming the resort and the amazing service staff—most were very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t consider this a party resort; it’s more geared toward families and low-key fun. Definitely check out the beach bar—John and Gerson are fantastic bartenders, very friendly and entertaining. There’s also a snack buffet there that overlooks the beach, so you can enjoy a nice breeze while you eat. I traveled Solo. My only downside was the rooms. They each had a balcony, and really could have been great, but cleanliness could be greatly improved. I had to change rooms twice—first due to the AC not working, then because the balcony door wouldn’t lock. All 3 rooms weren’t very clean mainly the bathrooms. Im not a picky person so By the third room I had both locked doors and ac, so I just went with it lol. On the positive side, they did upgrade me to a larger room, which I appreciated. I did feel like some of the front desk staff was not very friendly or accommodating. Neither of those issues were my fault and it seem like a bother or hassle for them to swap my room. Overall, it’s a lovely resort with great amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a safe, beautiful place to unwind with family or enjoy a laid-back vacation."

"Bathrooms need some renovation. After taking a shower, the whole bathroom gets wet. Also,breakfast options should be made more foreigner friendly as well as employing people who can speak English. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to lodge with big comfortable beds and nice swimming pool."

"The hotel is quite nice; the only issue is that the photos they show are from Royalton Hideway, not Royalton Splash, which makes things a bit confusing. At first it bothered me, but we were able to use both hotels, except for some areas like the buffet at the larger one and a few other things. Other than that, the beach was beautiful and the pools were nice too. There are a couple of things that could be improved, like having more areas where people can hang out longer, or places to play games such as volleyball or something like that—but that’s just my personal opinion. Overall, the hotel is good. It’s not “wow” like I initially expected, but I can’t complain."

"Every single thing from the service to the facilities, to the activities, to the food, to the room and just absolute stunning and sophisticated place. We truly have never been so happy with a hotel as we have been with TRS Turquesa. We cannot wait to go back next year!!! Our butler, Ray, was the absolute best!!!! He took care of every single thing for us every single day we were there. We are still speechless and how wonderful this vacation was. Truly amazing!"
