Beautiful rooms, garden, and onsen. But the real seller is the service. Everyone was so patient with us, even though Japanese is not in my skill set and the food was fantastic

Super stay at this traditional onsen inn! It’s an easy 5 minutes walk from the tram stop and it is a peaceful and hospitable place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast included (you have it in your room, the staff come to roll up your tatami 30 mins before - we just went to the onsen during this time) which was traditional Japanese style and delicious. The onsens are not too big but there are outdoor and indoor sections and perfectly adequate. The staff look after you warmly and we loved our experience of traditional Japanese culture here. Oh, and it’s near the Botanical Gardens where we saw monkeys bathing in the onsen.

The dinner service was good. The room is clean but very old. When we checked in they were going to give us a room without hot water. They told us to use the hot water in the spa area

Very conveniently located along the route from the airport to the central Hakodate!! The ryokan is a beautiful traditional style ryokan with tatami mat and delicious kaiseki dinner. The place is very quiet and peaceful and there is onsen available. It is located near the beach if you want to take in some fresh sea breeze.

Great location to easily reach the airport, nice and clean room with friendly and helpful service. Highly recommended for a quick stop in Hakodate.

Unbelievable service. Food was amazingly fresh, delicate, and well prepared. Onsen was wonderful. This place is one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Arigatou gozaimasu!

The hotel is full of the flavor of a traditional Japanese hot spring inn, and the staff are attentive and helpful.
A family-style hot spring hotel with a strong sense of history. Although small in scale, it has a warm feeling and is worth a try.
