"I've stayed at this brand's hotels before in Fukuoka, and they're always convenient for both business and leisure. Tokyu hotels are generally quite new, with a 'three-fixture' bathroom setup (separate toilet, sink, and shower/bath). Plus, the rooms have a washer/dryer combo, so you don't need to pack too many clothes, which really lightens your luggage. The outdoor hot spring on the hotel's rooftop is a unique feature – definitely try it if you stay here. My room was a corner unit, and the bathroom had a window, so you could soak in the hot spring while watching the sunset. Unfortunately, I caught it on a cloudy day. Right downstairs is a seafood market, which is incredibly good value. The only minor downside is that it's a bit of a walk from the station. After exiting, cross the road and head west; it's a bit closer that way. Upon check-in, the hotel gives you ice cream, which is delicious. The caramel flavor is even better!"
