Hotel restaurant under renovation. Instead of buffet breakfast, had to queue to collect breakfast pack in a plastic bag (only rice and sandwiches, and all cold) and coffee next to check in counter. Since hotel had planned the renovation long ago, it should be honest and inform potential customers so that we can decide whether to stay here. We only found out about renovation when we reached the hotel at 3 pm. It was too late for us to change our itinerary or booking. From customer perspective, this is an issue of integrity and honesty. I will not stay in this hotel chain again and does not recommend to others since there are many good Japanese hotel brand available. This is also the only Japanese hotel brand that allows check in only at 4 pm (instead of 3 pm) and check out at 10 am (instead of 11 am). Potential customers should take note.
