Need to walk a bit from the train station but there is a shuttle bus from here to the train station. Customer service was great and enjoyed the bath outdoor in rainy weather.

Delicious breakfast and dinner, staff knows limited English but they try hard to serve us, they are really nice. Overall it is a nice experience, I will visit again next time.

Location far from Hakone station
You can take bus A directly to the hotel door
Facilities are a bit old
But both dinner and breakfast are kaiseki dishes
Full of color, flavor and taste

A hotel that leaves a lot to be desired, it is not like it looks in the photos, very uncomfortable beds, spiders everywhere. At 11 at night they close the doors and they don't let you in or out, they tell you that when you check out you can leave your backpacks and then they tell you no, that you have to go to the station to pay. The hotel is a scam, it is not worth even 1/4 of what it is worth, the worst money spent on our trips. In addition, it is far from the center, there is no public transportation and you have to climb a hill full of mosquitoes.
The hotel would make sense for a much lower price, but for what it is worth, it is an insult.

I spent a wonderful night here during New Year's Eve. The waiter barely understands people and foreign languages, but he is friendly and good at communication. I booked a public bathroom first, but then I changed it to a private bath when there was room. My satisfaction improved a lot! The hotel is very close to Hakoyō-Yumoto Station, and the taxi cost was less than 1,000 yen. Later, we couldn't get a taxi and it was very comfortable for us to walk to the station for 15 minutes with our children🏳️🌈
