Very nice and clean. The outdoor hot spring is nice. You can use it for free for an extra 500 yen. The landlord cleaned the wheels of my suitcase every day before bringing it to the room. The bathroom is shared~

Beautiful stay in the Hakone region! We absolutely loved this place. The owners were so sweet to us and we had lots of nice conversations. They were even so kind as to prepare us a Japanese style breakfast when we said we preferred it to Western! Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather in Hakone, but the guest house gave us good recommendations to spend our time and was a comfortable home to come back to (The bus stop is very close). Also the milky hot spring baths were incredible!

Very nice onsen, and close to a bus stop and dining options. The host had very good english and was gracious and friendly and had suggestions for what to do. The baths themselves were clean, and the rates were reasonable. It’s not a super crowded place either, I think there were only maybe a dozen people staying in our wing. They will also bring your bags to the station for a fee or shuttle you to one of the nearby restaurants for free. We did not try the breakfast, but it looked reasonable- fruit, toast, jam, cereal, eggs, and something hot.

really lovely guesthouse, staff were very friendly and explained everything to us. the onsen was a great experience. good location with walking distance to convenience store and restaurants. definitely recommend to anyone wanting to experience a private onsen!
