Libré Homestay

The location of the room was very good and central. It was close to all the sights. Overall, the room was OK for the price.

We rented for 4 nights at Libre Homestay. We entered this studio and immediately we were struck by the dirt: The bathroom: the ceiling was covered in mold, the walls were full of soap, mold and other residues, so I spent the first half hour in the room scrubbing the walls and floors with dishwashing liquid since it was the only thing we had available. The broken faucets, the siphon filled with hair that we had to remove ourselves to allow the water to drain in this already moldy bathroom. I'll spare you the orange joints. The linens were stained, the only dishcloth we had was soaked, our towels as soon as they were a little damp stank of mustiness since there was no ventilation system. The room was also full of ants, our suitcases, our bags, everywhere in the studio, we had to put everything in the fridge, dry or cool to protect them. In terms of bedding, the mattress, if that is the name we can give to this rock-hard foam, is equivalent to sleeping on the floor, between the mattress and the box spring: eyelashes, dust, tissues and other crumbs of all kinds. The cushions and blankets provided were also stained. In 5 days, no cleaning service was offered, neither to change the towels that we had to wash ourselves nor for the floors while no ballet or other cleaning tools were available in the apartment, nor for garbage bags or others. During the stay we also spent a morning without elevators while we were on the 8th floor. Finally, on the day of departure, I was contacted at 9am to leave the room while check-out was at 12pm. We were not allowed water like in other Vietnamese establishments and we ended up with pressure and a threat to call security.

I do not recommend booking a room here at all. It has nothing to do with the photos, the cleanliness is zero, the bed is uncomfortable, there is a lot of noise from outside (not at all isolated), the air conditioning is in poor condition and I could go on... It is a total rip-off!!!
