My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our trip to Vietnam. The cleanliness of the entire property was impressive — everything from the lobby to our room was spotless and well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay, always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed.
The breakfast each morning was a highlight, offering a good variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. We also really appreciated the hotel’s location — it was perfectly situated near key attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy for us to explore the area.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vietnam.

Hotel de Lagom is a new hotel, hence all of their amenities are very new and in superb condition. The location is perfect as it is located right in the heart of city center and not so much of a far walk to the happening old quarter. All of the staffs are friendly, hospitable and professional. We love their recommendation hand-outs where you will be able to find all food options (Michelin included), bar spots and tourist attractions. The staffs (Christine and Julia) are also very responsive and accommodating to all my requests and questions via phone chats.
We were lucky enough to receive the free upgrade to Executive Suite. The room was super clean, spacious and modernly designed. Their gym is clean and equipped with clean and new machines and dumbbells. We did not have enough time to try out their swimming pool on the rooftop but it looks amazing as well. Right across the street is also a popular cafe, which is perfect for coffee lovers.
All in all, we had a great experience staying at Hotel de lagom. Highly recommended for anyone who is considering a new, nice and clean stay at Hanoi. We will consider staying here again in our next trip to Hanoi and would recommend this place to our friends!

The staying experience was excellent, and hotel staffs are all very friendly especially Kathy, Emma and Johnny. We were greeted from the drop off all the way through to the room, the process was so smooth and professional. Will surely stay again in the next visit!

We loved this hotel indeed. All hotel staffs (the team of front desk : Kathy, Emma, Christine, Lyn, James, Mendes & Johnny) as well as the team of De Spice (restaurant at 8/F) are super nice. They all are attentive & willing to give a hand at all time, it really made me home-like feeling to stay at. There is a minor issue at the shower in our room, the front office team had informed back office immediately & fixed it rapidly. I stayed in this hotel for 15-17Mar & then 2 more nights for 18-20Mar after Ha Long Bay cruise, we do not need to do check in again, it seems every staff recognized us & already prepare the room key for us, so did not need to wait for, we heartily appreciated.
The hotel location is very good, it is easy to go to Old Quarter & train street. I highly recommended Hotel De Lagom & will definitely return again on my next trip Hanoi.

The room is nice. The daily cleaning lady is very good. But the bottled water is not very active. Basically one or two bottles are replenished a day. The decoration of the newly opened hotel room is still a little smelly. You can open the balcony for ventilation. There is basically only one doorman in the hotel. Basically, you have to open the door and go in and out by yourself, but you can help with the luggage. The hotel will give you a guide covering the food. It is still recommended.

We really liked the hotel, everything is new, excellent service and wonderful breakfasts. It was quite cold in our room, but the girl at the reception offered a second blanket, which was very useful. The hotel has a convenient location, many attractions are within walking distance. We were satisfied.

A boutique hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter
This hotel impressed me with its high cost-effectiveness. It is a brand new hotel and very clean. Compared with the surrounding hotels, it is a very tasteful hotel. Breakfast is ordered, but it is very attentive, and all fresh ingredients are cooked freshly.
The location is excellent, located in the Old Quarter, within a ten-minute walk of the Old Quarter, and a five-minute walk to Train Street.
The room is clean and tidy, making people feel safe and comfortable.
The breakfast is rich and delicious, with a variety of varieties, a combination of Chinese and Western, and fresh ingredients, providing full energy for the new day.
Overall, this is a very recommended hotel, and I will choose to stay next time!

The newly renovated hotel is very new and well decorated. The key location is on the edge of the old city, very quiet in the bustling city! The waiters are enthusiastic, the front desk lady is very beautiful, and there is no problem communicating in English. I highly recommend it! It feels like it is next to their Ministry of National Defense or military camp, very safe, and to the south is the Golden Street where you can exchange Vietnamese dong. The exchange rate is better than the bank. You can also rent motorcycles nearby, which is very convenient
