Heritage Corner Hostel

It was a huge disappointment. First of all, the place is hidden away in an alley, and they never specify how to get there or how to enter. The entrance is just open (no door or reception), and while the area feels safe, the hostel itself looks nothing like the photos they advertise. Some of the bathrooms don’t even have locks, which really compromises privacy. The staff were not friendly at all — they left me waiting for a long time just to check in, and when it came time to check out, they pressured me to leave even though the person rushing me wasn’t even the right staff member. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I’m sharing photos so you can see what the place actually looks like and how entrence looks like if you want to reserve don’t lose.

Price is very affordable for the excellent location in downtown Hanoi, and it's pretty decent for the price. The hostel feels a bit old and doesn't have many amenities, but the beds are large and there's air conditioning in the rooms all day. Good place if you just want a cheap place to sleep in a convenient location.

I had an incredible stay at this hostel, thanks especially to Max, the host who made my experience unforgettable! Max was always helpful, kind, and full of great stories—he’s such an interesting person to talk to! He really went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The other staff members were also super friendly and gave excellent recommendations for exploring the area. Thanks to them, I discovered some hidden gems I wouldn’t have found on my own. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming, the facilities are clean and comfortable, and the people—both staff and guests—make it feel like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it!
