Authentic Vietnamese- French villa house feel right next to ho hoàn kiếm ( downtown lake ) and the 36 streets old city of Hanoi . It is for people who like a quiet French atmosphere . Host was a doctor student in Russia and speaks fluently French , Russian , English , etc... has an old family temple of over 100 years old right there . Don't expect the Hilton hotel which is built right next to it , but I would go there again . It is recommended to walk around the ho hoàn kiếm every morning from 5:00-6:30 am with quiet atmosphere and tai chi activities . Bring a nice camera too.
