I have been at this property for five nights. Everything has been enjoyable. I was treated right by all the staff with genuine kindness and professionalism. My room was nicely cleaned every day with everything replenished.  I want to thank housekeeping for taking care of my room. They were all great. Reception staff and the bell boy are also great. 
Honorable mentions of appreciation goes to Quang, Tuan, Jay, Phuong, Binh, Tham, Huong and Ngoc. I look forward to returning back someday. This will be my place to be. Highly recommended. Very close to nice coffee shops and places to eat there within very short walking distance. And the views of the lake are also nice. Thank you.

I choose to stay in that place for the second time this year during my visit in Hanoi. Last time I got high floor room and everything was just perfect! Unfortunately, this time even though I requested high floor apartment, I got the first floor one with explanation that there is nothing else available. Young boy in the lobby propose me to move to one of their different apartments if I am not satisfy with that one, but then he stop replying and I decided to give it a chance and stay. Please be aware that is very noisy there, especially if you choose room facing lake. Noises from the street, as well as people conversations until very late night, as there are several cafe shops and restaurants right downstairs. First day, washing machine got broken, then lighting , after the wardrobe. Electric pot was also impossible to use, even though they always send someone to fix and help. Apartment 201 should be renovated, as it’s simply old. Beside all of that, my stay was OK.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I had a big room to myself. The staff was friendly and attentive. The cleaning service was great even though sometimes the staff could not stop by my room because they had too much work to do. They did stop to change my towels and bring water bottles. The location is great if you are just in Hanoi to relax. The West Lake view is beautiful no matter the weather condition. There are many coffee shops in the area with different aesthetics and great service. But there are not many food places close by. The front desk is very helpful, they helped me to call a taxi and do laundry and also stored my luggage pre and after check in/out.

I regret booking this hotel, it's not like the picture, it's dirty, the room is dirty, I couldn't stay, I couldn't change the room, I couldn't cancel, I couldn't get a refund.

I appreciate the team in arranging us a room further from the lift, higher floor and has window. Room is spacious. Staffs are attentive.
However, it does not meet my expectations in terms of toilet size, cleanliness and room odour. The toilet has a stink scent I’m not too sure from where. Also, their toiletries are not fragrant enough. Maybe it’s my fault for not double check with other reviews and in depth research of the room in advance.
With the price I pay, I understand it may have shortcomings, but it’s too much for me to handle. Therefore, I decided to check out early (initially 3 nights stay, but only stay for 1 night).

I can say confidently this is one of the best if not the best hotels given the price. Situated right beside the West Lake, with the breathtaking views that comes with it, Moon West Lake is near various amenities: a pharmacy, a few convenience stores, a whole multitudes of restaurants, cafes, roadside eateries.
The service and staff are also impeccable. Water is left for us at our door every day, even though we hung the "do not disturb" sign at the door. During check-out, we had to pay for a couple bottles of water we bought from the lobby but they didn't have change, and the man kindly waived the charge.
All in all, as long as I am to visit Hanoi in the future, I will not stay anywhere else.
