I had an amazing stay at Yitel Railway Museum and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Harbin. The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways, especially in terms of cleanliness, room size, and service.
The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and spotless, making our stay extremely comfortable. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything neat and fresh. The service attitude of the staff was exceptional—they were always polite, friendly, and eager to help. They even went the extra mile by providing us with extra bottles of water without hesitation and assisting us with taxi bookings, which made our trip so much easier.
Another highlight is the hotel's superb location. It’s conveniently situated near the MRT, with plenty of restaurants and malls within walking distance. Traveling around Harbin was incredibly convenient thanks to this perfect location.
Overall, Yitel Railway Museum provided an excellent experience with top-notch hospitality. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Located near many department stores and subway station. Breakfast was a bit too simple but did the job. The bed in sub-bedroom was unconfortable. Didi pick-up spot was quite confusing too. You need to either walk around the corner or go thorugh the underground pass through to get to the pick up spot. With the said, we were overall satisfied with our experience here.

Location was good, metro station was just around the corner. Easy access to everywhere with shopping malls nearby. Free laundry was a plus point for us. We did a 2 x 2 days booking separately due to trips out of Harbin. Hotel is able to store your luggage for you. The only drawback was Didi. The road in front of the hotel is not accessible by Didi drivers, almost all the time my pickup will be cancelled by drivers. It is a huge inconvenience for travellers whom do not have local numbers for their drivers to call and locate you. Dropoff not a problem though as you are able to do a short walk back to hotel where ever the driver is able to drop you. Having said that, every other things are good enough for us

The suite has three types of rooms, and the front desk explained them clearly during check-in. Since we arrived early, we were free to choose. We ultimately opted for a suite with windows, featuring two large 1.8-meter beds. The only issue was the noise from the outdoor air conditioning unit, but it was tolerable. However, for light sleepers, it might not be ideal. The candies provided by the hotel were delicious. On the day of departure, as we had a lot of luggage, the front desk kindly lifted the barrier to allow our Didi car to enter the parking lot to pick us up.
Areas for improvement: The bathroom lacked hooks for hanging towels and clean clothes, which was somewhat inconvenient. Additionally, there is a sloped area in the corridor leading to the room, posing a potential safety hazard.

the Location of the hotel is good. they provide free laundry (DIY) and gym room. I will consider stay again, if I return to this place.

I would absolutely recommend to stay here. The room was clean, comfortable and with city view. They have a tourist information counter as well in the lobby area.
