The hotel's hardware, decor, and location are all excellent, with landmark buildings and the Songhua River visible from the window. However, this is the first time I've stayed at an InterContinental where an IHG member didn't receive a welcome drink. I argued with the front desk and a male guest services representative for a long time, and their attitude was quite arrogant. Impressive! Do guests who stay at this type of hotel really care about two bottles of drinks? I've always highly regarded the InterContinental brand; my experience at the Indigo Ningbo around my birthday last year was very good.
