I had the most incredible experience at this Safari Game Drive Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Chamone and Nicole made us feel so welcome and at home. Their warmth and attention to detail really set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The highlight, of course, were the four game drives with our guide Luan. His knowledge of the wildlife and the ecosystem was truly impressive, and he made every drive an adventure. We saw incredible animals up close and learned so much about the landscape and conservation efforts. Luan’s passion for what he does made each drive even more special. I can’t recommend this lodge enough. From the exceptional service to the breathtaking safari experience, it was truly a trip of a lifetime! Thank you again Chamone for being such a wonderful person. The garden route game lodge is located in beautifully landscaped and give you that safari feeling. It is possible to travel by car and park in one of the resort's car parks during your stay. The lodge is a beautifully decorated room with a spacious bathroom (only the floor is quite cold in spring/winter). The Serengeti Restaurant overlooks the reserve for breakfast and dinner, so you might see an animal or two. Unfortunately, there is an open fire, so souvenirs and clothes smell of smoke (the chimney needs work) or the room needs to be heated. The morning or evening game drives were unique. It is the perfect time to see the animals in the wilderness and learn a lot about the fauna and flora from the ranger. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful setting, whole range of wild life to view over 4000 acres, so almost guaranteed to see them all. We did but took 4 safari drives before catching up with the female cheetah and her 3 cubs . FABULOUS. Guides brilliant , got away very quickly when a 4 ton elephant made a charge at us, landrovers very functional, very rickety terrain so be prepared, this is an outdoor safari drive not a Sunday stroll in the park. Restaurant very good and food excellent. Accommodation in lodges better than a tent but not a hotel room. Lodges look sensational but they are small and not much privacy in the bathroom. There are better upgrade rooms available, we didn't view them. Staff excellent , all smiles. A long and mostly boring coach journey from Cape Town ; Mossell Bay a lot closer if you have the choice.

we used the family package. perfect for adults and children. very good restaurant. kind service. Guide excellent and professional. Amazing experience. We sow a lot of animals and lived a very interesting and great adventures with friends and children’s.
