Stay here regularly when visiting family locally Room are warm and very clean Comfortable beds with extra pillows Bathroom was super clean , lots of hot water but unfortunately water pressure was not the best . Staff are very friendly and efficient . You need to ask at reception for a hair dryer . Yes parking is £3 per day but the room are a good price .

Extremely comfy bed after our horrendous stay at Derwentwater hotel. Lovely helpful receptionist. She made last minute changes for my disabled wife at no extra cost. We know, now, that hotels really be forewarned if guests have access or other disability needs.

Hotel is clean and looked cared for room clean as was bathroom. Bed comfortable, Staff helpful. Although you could get a Pizza it is shame you have to leave hotel to get a good choice of food, if you want anything other than Pizza would suggest you eat before you get to hotel Shame you have to pay for parking when it is hotel car park but very happy and will stay again

Great place to start your lake distrct break. Very clean,comfortable and although on a bypass quiet. The fact that you have to go a mile either way to a roundabout to go either north or south isnt really a problem.

Parking charged us twice, reception didn’t seem interested, duvet looked like it didn’t fit, bathroom smelt, toilet handle extremely. These issues shouldn’t have been found on a quality check before we got there! I would recommend sleeping in the car rather than staying here.

Excellent hotel, by a busy road but little noise from the constant traffic. Only stayed one night on a Friday, quick check in as usual for a Travelodge. We were aware of the parking charges, only £3 for 24 hours but would be preferable if free as other hotels. On arrival we paid for parking immediately, few options to pay, including via an app but also takes cash. Unclear why but you have to confirm your car details again when checking in. One tip, if using the multi storey car park in Kendal, make sure you have cash, it isn't cheap, we paid £4.60. Parked on the 4th floor, the machines don't take card payments but you can pay by card at the main entrance.
