Shuixieshanshe Homestay is a relatively new lodging started by a young couple. The room we stayed in was clean and bright. The room's temperature can be adjusted accordingly, and there is a warm shower that is strong even when 3-4 people use it consecutively.
The lodging is value for money and the young couple managing it goes out of the way to make the place homely and comfortable for the guests. The owner provides complimentary pick-up and drop-off at the Hengshan West Railway station. My elderly mom was ill during the trip and the owner went out of the way to send us to the TCM clinic. We extended our stay for another day due to the kindness and courtesy of the owners.
Shuixieshanshe Homestay is within 5 minutes of walking distance to the Grand Temple of Mount Heng ( Nányuè Dàmiào) which makes it an excellent base from which to explore Mount Heng (衡山)

The boss was very polite. He contacted us in advance and even picked him up at the high-speed rail station. It happened to be a Monday and the boss answered all the questions related to Buddha worship one by one and was very enthusiastic. The hotel environment is good, quiet and the facilities are very new. I will choose this hotel next time.

The lady boss is very nice, free parking in front of the door, free breakfast, the room has a 1.8 large bed 🛏️ and two 1.5 small beds 🛏️, clean and tidy, and I slept very comfortably. I usually don’t comment on this B&B. I would like to say that the location at the foot of Hengshan Mountain is excellent. It takes a few minutes to reach the Hengshan Visitor Center. The room is clean and well-equipped. I forgot to take pictures when I arrived late. The owner and his wife are very welcoming and responsive to all requests. The pick-up station is also available. Helped with luggage, and also prepared breakfast and gifts. Next time I will come to hike the entire mountain and will definitely stay here again.

Because it’s a family room specially found for three people.
The bed is 1.5m which is quite big and can sleep 6 people.
The service from the landlady is also warm and considerate.
