Albatros Spa & Resort Hotel

We had a lovely 2 weeks at this hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable all the members of staff were so friendly and helpful. The food, although only warm, was tasty and varied, with plenty of options. The hotel is in a good position , very close to the beach , harbour , bars and shops.

It was an excellent choice for us, we spent here a week with a rented car. Food is good and different every day, staff is very friendly, just if you stay only in the hotel it's a bit boring. We traveled every day to different daily journeys. And that combination was excellent with this hotel. Parking is free on the nearby streets, the hotel does not have its own parking. It was not difficult to find a parking every day, but that could be different with a busy season. In overall, good value for money. BTW, the beach next to hotel is not excellent, there are stones if you enter the water. Recommend :)

We are currently here in the hotel and it’s amazing. It’s right beside the beach and at the start of the main ***** with a lot of restaurants and bars. Perfect location. The room we booked is an urban suite with plunge pool and it has everything we need, it’s big, comfortable, has a coffee machine, kettle, iron, etc. The hot tub is kept nice and warm and has lights so it can be used in the evenings. The pool areas are also fantastic, the loungers are cushioned and there are double chairs dotted around both pools. The hotel has an app so you can order drinks and food to the loungers. There were also plenty of spaces to lay all day, we moved a few times to follow the sun and had no problems finding a spot. The buffet restaurant is what you’d expect in a hotel. There’s a variety of starters, mains and desserts every night. There’s always something to try. We never really had Greek food before this trip so it’s nice to try a few things as we go. There is a separate counter outside that does different meats and dishes, usually with someone carving meat and cooking fresh fish and such. We didn’t notice it the first day but we found it has nicer things to eat. The pool area has its own restaurant which has some more variety from Greek cuisine. There was Italian, Mexican, Thai and then some vegetarian and gluten free options. The food here was really good, large portions for fairly cheap. Last thing, the staff have been very friendly and attentive. We had one issue with the air con one of the days and reception sent someone up right away to fix it. Anything we’ve needed so far has been catered to. Very happy with this place overall.

A good location and clean but the food is cold most of the time and I had booked breakfast and evening meal, now eating outside at additional cost as the trays of food provided for the self service are not providing hot food and I have eaten at different times, same outcome. I have also raised this at reception and with Jet2. I would have been cheaper going self catering.

This is an exceptional hotel. The service and friendliness of the staff was simply brilliant. They were really attentive and friendly. Particularly the restaurant service staff, many of who were new as the hotel had only just opened for the season. They were a real credit to the hotel. The hotel is modern and very comfortable and located in a really good area. The cleanliness standards were fantastic and the overall presentation of rooms and the general hotel were great. The choice of food for breakfast and dinner was very good. My only criticism of our whole experience was that the food needed to be hotter. This would have made a difference. For the cost of the hotel it was really good value and I would totally recommend to others.

This Hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff on reception are always available for help with anything and go above and beyond to facilitate your needs. The food is excellent, buffet style so you can eat as much or as little as you want and there is always a wide variety cooked to perfection by the excellent chef and his team. The waiters and waitresses are absolutely brilliant and always helpful also giving advice on quality wines, they again go out of their way to do what they can to make sure you are looked after. The hotel rooms are spotlessly cleaned every day unless you ask them not to. Everything about this Hotel is just excellent !! So warm and friendly the ambience around the place is just so relaxing. If you want a trip out, the hotel can arrange it for you, there is entertainment in the hotel every night you can take part or simply watch from your balcony. The location of the hotel is just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The pool is cleaned every night the pool bar and staff are excellent. All in all this hotel offers everything you want in a typical warm friendly greek atmosphere which I would recommend to anyone. Thank you to ALL the people at Albatros Spa and resort for giving us such a fantastic time, we will definitely return !!
