"The water in our bathroom was a very dark brown and smelling of metal. The hotel unilaterally decided to do away with our breakfast that was included in the price stating that the price actually is 50 eur per person :) Furniture from the '70s, bathroom with small lights and no hangers. There is no king-size bed, as mentioned - just two single beds. Overall - a bad experience and a misleading description."

From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome and completely at home. Dora and her staff made our holiday even more special with the way she looked after us. Her kindness and hospitality were incredible, and she made us feel like part of the family. We actually ended up staying longer because we simply didn’t want to leave! The hotel has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and you genuinely feel like you’re part of the family rather than just another guest. The whole experience has been amazing, and we cannot wait to come back next year. "What a fantastic holiday we’ve just had. We chose Mareva apartments for the location as when we came 2 years ago to Hersonissos we loved spending time in Koutouloufari. Mareva was a 10 mins walk up to Koutouloufari and 10 mins walk down to Hersonissos (ideal location). But the best thing about our stay was the hospitality we received. Family run business who made us feel very welcome from the start. A special mention to Yannis the owner who made our holiday one to remember and Nagy who every morning greeted us with his happy, friendly smile. I can totally understand people returning to Mareva and we will definitely be going back."

"Beautiful hotel very clean , there’s a button that turns on a red or green light to indicate if you want the room cleaning. If you get a luxe room you get to have breakfast at the ocean restaurant which is lovely very quiet and a lovely view . The al a carte restaurants were also lovely , at lunch we ate at Blu which again the food was lovely so we only had the buffet at dinner . The buffet was the only real let down it was a bit lac lustre . The drinks were also very ,nice pinky sangria was my favourite but you can get all sorts of lovely cocktails . Our fridge was stocked daily with bottles of fizzy pop a couple of beers and water . You also get a kettle and coffee machine . The shower had a glass door so not great for a family but we just put a towel over it whist showering you also get shampoo , conditioner and shower gel which was decent quality . The pool areas were great , very comfy sunbeds and no need to get up early to reserve there was plenty . The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you . It’s a beautiful chilled out hotel we really enjoyed it ."

"There are many pomegranate trees. It is fun to squeeze your own juice for breakfast in the morning. On the last day, I found that the swimming pool behind the hotel reception is a heated swimming pool. It's just that the opening hours are too short."
